Pizza Pizzazz Townsend — Restaurant in Townsend

This was the craziest experiences I've ever had with a restaurant. On more than one occasion I've had to call cancel my order after waiting hours for them to deliver it. One time I called to cancel the order after waiting 2 hours for it. I called another place and got the food in about 35 minutes then after eating the food I got from the other place a delivery guy from pizza pizzazz showed up, this is now more then 3 hours after I ordered and 1 hour+ after I called back to cancel that order. I told the delivery guy that I cancelled that order after waiting 2 hours for the food and that I already got food from another place and there must have been some sort of miscommunication so he left. Then about 25 min later this older woman shows up, I can only assume that she is one if the owners, and starts to argue with me saying that I have to pay for the food because they made it and brought it to me. I politely explained the situation to her and she didn't care insisting that I pay for it and getting very rude and yelling at me and refusing to leave and saying that we always call then cancel our order. I told her that I only cancel my order if it takes more than 2 hours to get the food after being told it would only take 45min and that no matter what I will not pay for that order and if she didn't leave I would call the cops. She threw the pizza in my driveway and left. I've never experienced...

They used to be great. I was so excited to go back there after having moved away many years ago, but that quickly turned very sour indeed. First, they said they don't make any of the subs we had always eaten there for many years, even though they are still on the overhead menu... Ridiculous. Second, I decided to get a steak and cheese sub and very clearly asked for DOUBLE extra cheese and they didn't do it. Unacceptable ignorance. Third, it was just plain horrible. It tasted like it was cooked on a disgusting grill that hasn't been cleaned in a very, very, long time, so I threw it in the trash where it belongs. Nasty. Fourth my mother's Italian sub had no cheese on it at all, very little taste, and the bread was lousy. She asked for extra olive oil, and they didn't do that either. Lazy incompetence. Fifth, my daughters turkey, lettuce and black olive sub was inedible as well. The turkey had no flavor at all and she was disgusted with it. Total waste of money. Pitiful. We live over an hour and a half away from the place, so going back to return their garbage and get a VERY justified refund, is not going to happen. What was once my absolute favorite place to get subs, is now a place I will never make the mistake of going to again. ...

The subs are usually pretty good, aside from the fact there’s always stuff on it that shouldn’t be.. I ordered Pizza from there today (this was the second time, the first time I thought it was awful but then seen today they had the option for Italian style pizza so I tried that) and we will never order their Pizza again. We ordered 1/2 Pepperoni, and got a full cheese but was still charged for the Pepperoni. I get that occasionally places mess up orders, it’s inevitable.. but when every time we order there’s a mess up, it stinks. Not even the mess up, but the pizza itself was just not good at all. If Pizza Pizzazzz in Pepperell was open, we would have went there instead. Not sure if they’re the same owners, but the quality of the food, and the customer service at the Pepperell location is just so much better. Only reason this place even gets two stars is because their subs aren’t gross when we take off the added stuff we didn’t want on. I worked at a Pizza shop minutes away from the city and we always used ONLY mozzarella cheese on our 18” pizzas, and so did every shop around. Maybe it’s the cheddar cheese that makes this Pizza taste awful.. who knows. Next time I’ll drive the 30 minutes for great pizza if our normal...
