Bagel Street Cafe — Restaurant in Tracy

I love going here... however the staff is a MESS. Whoever is managing the people needs to work on their leadership!!! The people that work there look really, really STRESSED out and confused all the time. There's SO many people crammed into the kitchen stepping over each other. If they did some team building work and had cleaner delegation of tasks they would able to pace themselves a lot better. Some of the staff should clearly not be there as some of them are just standing around 'looking busy'. I'd suggest a manager watch the camera footage carefully... it's pretty obvious who the slackers are.

Clean shop on the staff, get rid of the deadbeats and you'll be able to move customers faster benefiting not just the people who are patrons but the business as well. We will still continue to come here as we want to support a family business and love bagels... but a lot of people will not have the patience to deal with the inept leadership here. It's not the 'staff' who at fault here. If this business hired a manager, they need to take some serious consideration of leadership training for them.

UPDATE: Return trip was definitely better. It really is a flip of the coin if we have good service or not. I'd suggest more careful monitoring on employee performance cause it can be good but is also just as likely to be...

I want to share my recent experiences at a local breakfast spot that I used to love. It used to be my go-to place for a quick breakfast, but the quality and service have really gone downhill. I used to visit this place multiple times a week, but lately, the service has been rude and the food quality has decreased.

I finally decided to write this review because I feel like the owner doesn't appreciate loyal customers. The employees have been disrespectful, and one employee even cursed at me and made an inappropriate gesture when I tried to share my concerns with the owner.

On top of that, the food quality has suffered. The cream cheese they've been using upset my stomach, and the eggs and other ingredients seem to be of lower quality than they used to be. I understand that businesses need to make money, but cutting corners at the expense of quality is not okay.

I care about supporting local businesses, but I've had enough. I'll be taking my business to the donut shop across the street, or even the Starbucks nearby. There's also a Dunkin' Donuts that I've heard good things about. I just can't support a place that has treated me and other customers this way.

A clean, friendly, fast, and delicious location for a soft tender bagel. The first thing you notice is the clean and cozy atmosphere and friendly fast moving staff that welcomes you.

Greeted by a beautiful layout and wonderful yet simple selection, it's almost hard to decide what to devour, luckily the amazing staff pointed me in the right direction with an adjacent item to my original order. Delicate, chewy, savory, and filling is the simplest way to describe the nova lox.

My favorite thing was definitely the community of people that clearly come on the regular. From a party of cops at 6am, a business man on his way to work, the EMS guys finishing their long shifts, and the two best friends who have been having coffee and watching the sun rise for what seems like decades together, this place seems to be a favorite amongst a wide variety of locals and hard workers.
