I had a pretty poor-experience the other night by this franchise's location's staff. I took my girlfriend with me to go 'attempt' to get some ice cream the other night, and ultimately ended up waiting for over 20 minutes in the line outside. I understand that with the recent restrictions, that it is necessary for it to be this way - however, given that there's only 4 individual-groups allowed within the store at one time, it should have taken much less time than it did. This was compounded by the fact that everyone (along with us, who were outside) noticed that the employees were simply talking amongst each other, and not really attempting to speed the wait along. Sadly, the worst part was that the hours stated that they were open on here until 23:00 (11pm), but we were told that the "last customers" were being served; being the people right in-front of us in line, and so we were told to leave. Seemed like management could use re-training, or at the least - remedial communication training, considering they couldn't even be bothered to come outside and let us all know that they were closing shortly; instead, we ended up having to be the ones to let everyone else know that service would be discontinued. Overall, this certainly left a lasting-impression of this store's location, and we will likely pursue alternatives; rather than return to this store. It really is too bad, as they certainly left a lot of people upset over that, and i'm sure we aren't the only ones who feel the same way. Wish I could give it 0/5 stars, as ice cream was not even attainable, but suffice it to say, there's a dire need for reorganization from their leadership. You get customers to come in, order ice cream, and when they're ready to pay using a coupon, you decide you can't use it? Twice in the last 2 months I've been told the coupon expired when it says clearly in my email that it hasn't expired yet. And the workers don't do ANYTHING about it. They straight up lie saying it's expired despite me showing my email with an expiration date a few days out. The ice cream is good, but not that good to keep getting scammed out of extra money when I have valid coupons. One was $5 off any purchase, the other was a BOGO Free. This issue needs...
Read moreI went to cold stone earlier today with my 9 yr old brother to celebrate his first ollie on a skateboard. He was so excited to get a scoop of birthday cake remix and everything was going great until the guy serving us left the cone on the counter. I asked him politely to replace the cone because the counter was so dirty. He reassured me he had cleaned it earlier in the day but there was drops of melted ice cream and all types of filth. So I just looked at him awkwardly and asked for a different cone again and he said no. I didn't want to cause a commotion since my brother was with me so we just left the place and I had to throw away the cone.
