I use to love to stop at Cat Daddy's. They offered the perfect size burgers and food is good, but the last couple times. The service has been a complete ZERO! A client that goes there has a personal problem with many of the customers and she is always LOUD and ruins the visit, when ppl want to sit and enjoy some time watching over the River, well you can't with her big yapper running at 1pm! Also, went to have dinner with my daughter in law and the bartender never said Hello or offered a drink or a menu and she skipped over us while we sat at the table, then I went up to the bar and she helped other ppl that came in after us and she never once looked at me, said hello or I will be right with you. She handed out menus and drinks to everyone else and now we are past the 20 min point with no acknowledge of being a PAYING CUSTOMER! I can't say that I will be back, which is really sad, because I have enjoyed watching the growth of the business, but I think they have some bugs that need to...

There is bar seating as well bar room seating but keep walking. There’s a little screen porch and deck seating beyond that. And down below are a bunch of picnic tables. There may even be more tables along the waterfront but we didn’t make it past the deck. Great river views
The menu was straight up bar food but everything we saw come out looked good. We don’t do bar burgers very often anymore so if we’re going to get one, it had better be good. And ours did not disappoint
Initial service is order at the bar but after that there was always bar staff around to flag down if we needed anything. Most of the patrons were on a first name basis but that didn’t exclude us from good service as well
As we were leaving we got to watch a string of barges get lined up to go thru the locks at the dam. Good fun. That only happens when you are sitting on a deck looking at...
Read moreLooking for a craft beer? Skip it. Looking for a rare place, a beautiful view, bottled beer, classic well drinks, and solid burgers and sandwiches? Cat Daddy's is a must-stop if you want a classic Wisconsin small-town bar experience. It's named 'Cat Daddy's' for catfish, not Dads that love cats, and their catfish sandwich takes a delicious, minimalist approach: nothing but a grilled bun (!), a catfish fillet, some lettuce, and tartar sauce. 100% will eat again! Our party also liked the burgers and fries, although our cheese curd sensei gave the curds 'just' an eight. Bathrooms are clean, prices are awesome, and pours are great. Check it out if you're looking for a bar...
