Dairy King — Restaurant in Trenton

We have been going to Trenton location after chiropractor for years and they always had fresh hot fries - Not any more. We quit going awhile back because of this but decided to give it another try today, my husband loves their dbl bacon cheeseburgers. The fries were warm, not hot, and over cooked, to brown. Since it was Thursday I wanted to try the bacon potato soup. It was soured. We took it back to counter and asked them to taste their soup to see if it was in fact soured and yes it was. She said they only make it twice a week and it must have gone bad on them. Soup shouldn't go bad in 3 days. Regardless, due to sub par fries the last several times, and now serving soured potato soup, I am done. My husband can get his dbl bacon cheeseburger but I will no longer eat there, which makes me sad, as we always couldn't wait to get there and dive in to the best fries we had ever had. Always hot and cooked to perfection. I got chicken noodle to replace potato soup, which flavor was good, but the cup was only partially filled, barely more than half. For $5.41 they could fill very small cup within 1/4 to 1/2 inch of top. You know the last time we were there a gal came and asked how everything was and we told her fries were not hot a day she apologized and said they just had a meeting regarding that - sorry to say it didn't...

I'll give them 3 stars, the ice cream was good. They totally screwed up our orders. We came in with two other couples. One out of the three orders was right. I ordered a small vanilla, chocolate dip cone and a small chocolate cone. The gal brought out one of the other couple's order that we were with she had ordered a chocolate shake and a chocolate, chocolate dip cone. She got a chocolate shake and a vanilla, chocolate dip cone. We thought maybe they just got them mixed up, no problem. I took the dip cone she got as it was what I ordered. The next order that came out that was my order, was a cup of chocolate ice cream and a vanilla, chocolate dip cone. I told the gal what it was supposed to be and she kept telling us well if we just wanted to keep them and eat them that's ok cause they don't want it to go to waste and we wouldn't be charged. Really cause we already paid for our orders. So my order the chocolate cone, was a "cup" of chocolate ice cream and our friend never got her chocolate, chocolate dip cone, she just ate the second vanilla, chocolate dip cone. We checked our receipts and they were correct. So they need to pay more attention to the actual order...

Ordered the lunch special, a chicken cordon bleu sandwich, fries and a drink for $9.50. Food was delivered by a young man with dirty finger nails and hands. I received a piece of chicken and cheese on a bun no ham or lettuce as the picture showed on the menu. It was no bigger than a McDonald's hamburger. I showed the manager he said it does not come with lettuce as the picture showed. So he gave me another sandwich with a piece of ham as thin as paper. Again not what the picture on the menu showed. I feel if your picture shows it a certain way then make it the way it shows on the menu. Not half way. Also ordered large drink they filled crushed ice to top of cup and added drink in it which was not even half a cup of tea.The thing that gets me the most is no apology and asking a question on an order i paid for seemed to inconvenience the manager as his attitude showed in his...
