Mexico On Main — Restaurant in Trenton

I went here for a cast party and I arrived along with others around 8:45. I ordered a Virginia strawberry daiquiri, and got it about 10 minutes after ordering it. I was not asked what I wanted to eat until 9:30. I ordered 2 beef tacos and a water with a lemon slice. I got my water at 10:00 (this is the time they close btw). I did not get my food until 10:25. I had to immediately put it in a to go box because I had no time to eat because they had technically already closed. I went to pay and was told I could because I didn't have my check. But the person in front of me didn't have their check either but the cashier was able to find what they ate and print them out a check so they wouldn't have to wait. Also, the person I sat next to, asked for napkins when we got out drinks. She ended up leaving around 10:00 because of the ridiculous amount of time she was waiting. We didn't get our napkins till when they brought our food out. The food was disgusting, the ground beef in the taco was flavorless and was very mushy, and even though I only have a 10 minute ride home, my taco shell was very soggy. Terrible food...

Outstanding food and service! Very large portions. Great atmosphere. Owned by the same people who own Mexico Tipico in Lebanon with the same menu. The salsa here is slightly thicker and a bit more spicy than the salsa in Lebanon. I had the steak fajitas. Truly outstanding! There's a reason why the reviews at both restaurants are 5 star. The Mexican food at both locations in these two small towns is the kind you get in large metropolitan areas - very authentic and fresh. You simply cannot go wrong by dining at Mexico on Main (Trenton) and Mexico...

Good food as usual. First mistake made in 4 visits, was simple though, they just changed up what sauce went on what enchilada. We did make a last minute request for my child who decided he in fact did want something and they quickly accommodated. Staff is very concerned with giving good customer service and make you feel as though you could request anything and they would be happy to fulfill that request. Always a solid choice and nice to almost always...
