We've been coming here for years. Obviously, there's something bringing us back and that's the food. Most times, I opt for the #7, sweet and sour chicken, but we also like the Sunday buffet where we can enjoy a spread of different dishes. The previous owners got to know us by name and my 4 year old daughter was always treated with a tremendous amount of compassion. We feared the ownership transition would bring a change in the menu and that the staff wouldn't be as friendly. Fortunately, we were incorrect. The menu is the same as always and the taste and quality of food has not suffered at all. Although the staff is different than before, they're still very friendly and attentive, we've just not gotten to know them very well yet. Dishes are reasonably priced and the amount of food served per plate should leave very few people with room for the cookies that follow. Very generous portions. The only reason for the 4 star review is the décor and lack of updates in the dining room and restrooms. Although the restrooms are clean, they...
Read moreI wish I would of read the reviews before ordering take out from here! My family loved this place years ago, so I trusted it. I've never had bad Chinese American food... Most of it wasn't even edible. We tossed our egg rolls because they were so saturated in a heavy oil and when we bit into it it tasted so off... Like soggy bean sprouts that might of gone bad. Such a shame! My bf tossed his beef and broccoli. The beef was tasteless and seemed like it was previously frozen or something. Veg lo mein was plain noodles with no sauce.. so strange. Sesame chicken was given as fried chicken pieces like you get served sweet and sour chicken and then the sesame sauce to add yourself. I have never seen that before but ok... Sauce didn't taste much like the sesame sauce I know and there was pieces of pineapple in it? Tasted OK but I didn't finish it. Overall best part of our takeout order was the plain white rice. That should say it all. A complete waste of money which is so upsetting. Fingers cross we...
Read moreI hate to say this but I am NOT a fan! Food was fresh and hot so that’s a plus. Ordered 2 shrimp egg foo young combos and there was like one scoop of rice in the combinations. I couldn’t believe my eyes. You know how the to go containers is divided into 3 sections, 2 at the top and 1 big section at the bottom? Only 1 of the sections at the top had rice in it! Idk if this is the norm for them or not because this was my first time trying them but I’ve always had the 2 top sections filled with rice when I order this from anywhere else. Who even looked at that and decided that that would be enough rice to eat with all of that egg foo young and gravy? I was completely blown away. Egg rolls have become a fave of mine and these did not scratch my itch. The sauce for them was not good to me. Over all I just won’t be back. I’ve had better but just wanted to give them a shot since they were closer. This is the reason people say don’t fix what isn’t broken. I’ll stick to...
