Taco Bell — Restaurant in Trenton

Are we serious? My mom was really nice and got me Taco Bell yesterday and everything seemed DIRTY. The nacho fries container was covered in white stuff and hand and finger prints. My nacho fries were cold and also had white stuff on them. My mom’s nacho bell grande tasted old- everything from the meat to the chips and cheese. I was on my way to work with 20 minutes and 5 minute drive time, barely making it because they prioritize mobile orders?? (As well as taking forever) Anyways, the guy who took our order was friendly and my mom has the video of her going back, still being polite. The younger workers were very kind and apologized for their manager’s behavior (hence the extra star under service.) The older lady (manager) acted truly like a child while the younger employees tried to work the refund before she came over- already knowing she’d be piece of work…. She was SO rude, saying they would remake it but she didn’t want to refund, saying “Oh my god is she handing all it back???” snidely as if we were trying to be malicious. Maybe don’t serve dirty and old food? But anyways, the meal was such a turn off as to if they ever clean the drink dispenser so I told her she could take the Baja blast back. My mom went to hand that back and she said we could keep it- but didn’t refund it. Overall a horrible experience and I’ll never be back. (Started at a 4 star) This is hands down the best Taco Bell in the area. Not only was the drive-thru employee great and personable, but the food was outstanding. I’ve had bad experiences with other Taco Bell’s in the area and have to give 5 stars for this experience. I work in customer service and this was outstanding for a fast food joint!

Edit:(down to a 3 star) I take most of this back because they continually forget hot sauce. This place is no different than any other downriver Taco Bell. Spending all $14 on overpriced garbage and people still can’t get anything right.

Edit(05/16/24: now a one star): paid for extra jalapeño sauce and they didn’t give it to me. Loving paying a multinational corporation extra money to not get anything. This place has literally gotten worse and worse since coming here. Just making your own stuff at home at this point

Edit: (12/21/24) waited in line for over an hour. By the time I got up to the window, it took five minutes to pay and then waited fifteen minutes for my food. Absolutely insane experience for a fast...

Update- 9-28-25

Came here and ordered - 2 soft tacos, pinto beans and cheese, and a nacho fry. Placed the order on my mobile app at 12:26. Order said it’d be ready at 12:40. Didn’t get the order until 12:52. We watched an entire line of new drive-thru orders come thru, and still didn’t get our order. Nobody notified us what the hold up was. A man that we saw came after us, got his order before us. Again, at least acknowledge the customer and inform us that we may be waiting a good 25 minutes for XYZ. Very unorganized. Food is usually good, for the most part. But I regret not going through the drive thru instead.
