Pizza Express Trenton — Restaurant in Trenton

Food is delicious but customer service is horrendous. They need to find themselves a new person to handle the phone calls because the girl who picks up the phone has a toxic personality.

Also, ignore their open and closing hours because they do. I just called them to order a Chicken Cesar Salad and the girl picked up and said that they were closed even though on their site it says that they close an HOUR from now so the people working there seem to only work when they feel like it.

They're always forgetting one thing or another with orders and it is immensely unprofessional and ignorant. They always have an excuse for everything too, like for example, they're extra busy that day (what restaurant doesn't get busy? It's a part of the job description) or as the girl claimed one time 'there's an emergency so we're closing early tonight' which btw I wonder if she was even telling the truth.

I understand that people have bad days but her bad attitude is present EVERY TIME I've called. If she hates her life so much that she can't even do her job right then she shouldn't be working there because I'm sure someone else can do her job better. She should not be handling customer service work with the attitude she has.

I would have given this 0 stars if I could but I have to give it something in order to post this. Regardless, consider this 1 star review a big, fat 0...

We used to order from this place sometimes twice a week, we have a lot of people come over. Not any more though.... The pizza is too doughy, and they refuse to make it crispy. The calzones are mostly dough, and not cheese and fillings. The sauce has given me indigestion lately also, so I don't know what they are doing different. They are constantly running out of Tamales (which are a favorite of ours), and now they ran out of Pastelillos, and the Alcapurria, they only have O'yuca (Cassava), not the De Platano (Plantain) always out of that too.... and the sauce that goes with it. The mozzarella sticks were also chewy and cold. Maybe they need new chefs, but it is a shame. I would be willing to order from here again, if...

I am usually a very " layed" back person, since I moved to Hamilton N.J. 5 years ago, I've been ordering from PIZZA EXPRESS @ 101 S.
