The new owners have done a really nice job in remodeling and changing up the menu. The new owners are the same owners of the Truago in Old Trenton, at least that's what I was told. The chicken wings are so much better than when it was Busters. They also have a better variety on their menu, including some bbq dishes. I had their brisket the last time I ate here. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was quite good. I believe that they make their own sauces too, all of which are great. I don't like the Nashville sauce though. One thing that I wish that they did have was mac 'n cheese. How can you serve bbq and not have mac 'n cheese? Their service is top notch as well. Their waitresses can take care of the whole bar by themselves. I was in here the other day and the brisket waffle fries weren't hot. And we mentioned it to the waitress and she, not only brought us out hot fries, but also took the brisket fries off of our tab. This was so unnecessary, yet so considerate. You can tell that the staff, from top to bottom, really care about their customer's experience. That experience alone will bring me back in. The beer selction is pretty good as well. And while they are not dive bar prices, they are quite reasonable for what you get. 4 pieces of codd for under $12 is a good deal if you ask me. Overall, this place is well worth the visit. Their food quality is much better than Busters. Review of Busters (In location prior to Rocky's Roadhouse): I came in here last year. For those that don't know, it's in a good location, on the corner of Jefferson and Vreeland. Their prices are pretty good. While I did not try the hamburger that was awarded by some guy that likes hamburgers, I was not really impressed with the chicken wings. I was told that the wings were pretty good by people in there, but as it turns out, they were just those little packaged frozen wings that were deep fired. One thing I thought that was really cool about this place was that for every week of the year, a guest can pay money to pick a playing card. And if your card is picked, you win a jackpot. I'm not really sure if that is exactly how the giveaway works, but I am in the ballpark somewhat. Overall, Buster's is worth the visit.

Extremely Unprofessional Manager Very Disrespectful spent 42.00 on this Garbage, Manager is racist charged for a 20pc Carolina sauce and there was no sauce they claim the sauce was placed on chicken as you can see there's no sauce accused of trying to so called steal when the purchase was made won't be back to this establishment poor service, food is trash be warned they do not treat there African American customers with professionalism

Rocky's is a local staple in Trenton with delicious food, plenty of drinks and beers on tap and best of all live music! They have lots of parking in the back and plenty of TVs to watch the game. The staff is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely be back!

The food here is pretty bland. The brisket was a tad dry which happens at a lot of BBQ joints but there was literally no smoke flavor on it at all. I have a feeling they don’t really smoke their BBQ items. The BBQ chicken was breaded broasted chicken. They forgot to give us sauce to put on it. Which all around that is weird. I’ve never seen a BBQ joint give you broasted chicken and tell you to sauce and qualify it as BBQ chicken. If I had known it was just broasted chicken I wouldn’t have ordered it. Fries were lightly seasoned which was fine for me but others may believe they’re bland. The garlic bread is a hot dog bun that they garlic butter and toast up, really classy. 🤣 Food was edible and not totally gross hence my two star rating. The food was just extremely disappointing. I just wish they really had BBQ chicken on their menu that is real BBQ chicken not broasted. If you’re looking for a good “BBQ” joint though this may be the place for you. I mean as long as you don’t care about your BBQ being legit at all and oven baked with no smoke flavor this is definitely the place for you. I eat at way too many real BBQ joints to waste anymore money at this...

Dined alone for lunch as was in Trenton and knew there were restaurants I wanted to try but could not recall 1. Googled brisket as I'm always searching for a great brisket place. Parking was easy even at height of lunchtime although I almost missed the restaurant. It didn't look like a restaurant to me which could be part of it's appeal. Interior is what you'd expect of a bar up north and music was a little too loud. Maybe it's kept at 1 volume and set for louder night alcohol soaked crowd. I was seated immediately and 2 women attended to my table. I think 1 may have been more of a hostess but whatever they were both very attentive and timely in a very friendly manner. The food came hot and tasted very good. Brisket was tasty and mild. I brought some home for hubby to try and he really liked it. It's about 20 miles away and he said he'd go again if we were in the area and that it was much better...
