(2022) you can't even trust people to be honest with reviews anymore if people were honest with what they thought about this place it would be a two-star Chinese restaurant at best, instead we're subjected to this gen z everybody's awesome crap, no sorry not this place, this place still sucks. It's post COVID and they still use the COVID excuse for their crap hours and days of operation, took almost 2 years to try this place again and guess what ??? CLOSED! on the weekend now, still at 8pm??? How do these people stay open? Who is so desperate for mediocre Chinese food that they put themselves through the hoops this place requires to even get food? Oh well! Not like Chinese food is hard to find. Goodbye aging shung hey, probably won't be back after this last try. Waaaaay too many other options available literally EVERYWHERE near by.

It's not the worst I've ever had, but not too far away from it. Portions are huge, which is a positive, I suppose. Staff was really friendly, and attentive. I prefer carryout, so it didn't bother me that they're carryout only, but it's bizarre they have a full, large seating area, and only do carryout. Maybe they still have a lease on the building or something? But if they're going to be carryout only, it seems like it would make more sense to have a smaller footprint. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Food was sickeningly sweet, with no other flavor to speak of. Rice tasted...wet. it was mushy and old tasting. Chicken was soggy, with the breading disintegrating into the sugar sauce. I very much believe that they just cook big vats of each thing, buffet style, ahead of time, and then leave it sitting there, and just slop it into containers as people order. It was all a gloopy mess. Eggrolls were soggy, but tasty other than that. It was edible, but not something I'd want to pay...

my whole family ate here last night, and by the time we finished our food, our stomachs were turning by the time we finished our meals. my sister ended up going to the ER and was diagnosed with food poisoning so assuming we all have it, we decided to call and file the complaint, get a refund and explain our experience, we were immediately met with an attitude and the denying of what the ER Said. We have been going there for over 8 years and are very disappointed in the treatment we received. they refused refund and there reasoning for the denial was “if nobody else experienced the same thing you did, then i cannot refund you, IF you were dissatisfied with your food we would, but food poisoning is serious” So the way it seems, they won’t take us seriously unless OTHER people were also sick, mind you we didn’t eat anything yesterday other than the food. quite upset it makes no sense, pretty sure they are more concerned about $50 than the health of...
