AMAZING BISCUITS! šŸ˜‹ They have another location in High Point but this one is my favorite. Customer service is always helpful when I have visited. There is plenty of parking and drive- Thru is available. They get people through pretty quickly even on busy mornings. Dine in is available and there always very welcoming and pretty fast to get your order out . They have their homemade sauce which is not spicy but a pretty good taste . Me and family come here for breakfast and the home fries are always delicious and warm , but OMG there biscuits are the best I have ever had around here . They are Big biscuits so expect to be full by the time you walk out ! I’m a sweet Tea person and their sweet tea is delicious. Pricing is decent nothing to expensive, they also have some delicious burgers during lunch time with fries also one of my favorites. I have never tried the Bbq and sides but I always hear good comments about it , it’s next on the menu for sure šŸ˜‰! Take out is also available. I recommend coming here for sure.

Love BBQ Joe's in HP but went to this one today. Asked for my pulled pork Chicken on the side, and I got this with hardly any Lettuce. Never had a salad in my life with dividers. You can't even move it around! It's more shallow then the square to go containers. On that one side. I was very disappointed. $15 dollars for lunch, with my drink, and I had to clock out for an hour. I did get a nice portion of chicken though. Plus is last time I went to this location. It was impressive. With a different container. I also had to drive from Randolph Street to treat myself. Should have gone to BBQ shack this day. That's where I usually go bc it's closer. Live and learn. I will stick to HP location.

I was told that BBQ Joe's had good home cooked vegetables along with a daily meat special. Kicking myself for not trying this restuarant sooner.... clean facility, personable waitstaff and the food makes the first two point irrelevant. Buddy had BBQ and hushpuppies, which looked like doughnuts and were surprisingly light and tasty. I had ham, sweet potato casserole, fried okra and some dang good iced tea. I cant wait to go back and try the breakfast menu. Yes, it is a little off the restaurant row of Hwy 109, but that adds to the draw..... not nearly the crazy traffic of dinner time on Randolph Street.

Placed an order today for myself and some dear friends in need. Handed the kid at register a $100. The look of panic on his face was almost humorous if hadn't been followed with "We can't take hundreds cuz they could be counterfeit." The dumbest thing I've heard all day. Plus, FYI, it's absolutely illegal to refuse legal tender, but they clearly aren't aware. But he's just doing what he's told by the not-so-bright management above him. I say, "Don't you have a marker to check it?" Plus this is one of the 2013 bills, so not very commonly faked. In fact, another FYI for you BBQ Joe's, the $20 is the most commonly counterfeited bill, so whatever logic you think you're using here, isn't logic at all, but I digress. So, I go to the car to try finding my wallet which was left at home, and of course it's not there. He says "Do you have Apple Pay or CashApp?" "I have PayPal." "You could order on our website." So i go there and spend 10 mins trying find everything that we ordered so I can use paypal. Of course, however, PayPal isn't an option. They want a credit card. THANKS BUDDY! So I'm trying really hard to keep my cool here. If I wasn't there for the sole purpose of doing something kind for someone else, I would've left and never come back, as will now be the case for me. Again, I digress. So I go bother a nice family that's sitting down eating. I say, "I'm so sorry to bother you folks, but for some reason they won't accept a $100 bill for my $60 meal. Could I possibly give you money through PayPal and you pay them with a credit card?" I felt horrible bothering these nice folks, however in retrospect, I'm glad it was another one of their customers who was being inconvenienced for their stupidity. Hear me out here.. the worst part of this that makes it so unbelievable is that this kid said they can accept $100 bills, but only the manager can, who wasn't there at the moment. Then some other kid says the manager is there now, so I ask to speak to them. Who comes out? Of course it's your typical multi-colored hair inexperienced kid who rolls their eyes that someone wants to speak to them (she was 10' away when asked) because now she might have to pretend to care about her job or even worse, the customer. She has the most smug look on her face like I'm some sort of jackass for wanting to speak to her. She's the one who locked-in this review. I can handle stupid. You have to in today's world. It's hard to handle smug condescending attitudes from the people who are there to serve others. I start cordial, "Hey how are you?" She doesn't answer, and throws up a half second smile to ensure I know she doesn't give a crap. I continue, "I'm just curious why you guys don't accept $100 bills." "I didn't put the sign up." (there's one by the register where I wasn't at) "Ok, well, I just thought you should know it's illegal to refuse legal tender." I'm not sure she even understood the words that came out of my mouth. "It could be counterfeit." "Well he said you could accept it, but that he can't. Do you have a way to verify if something is real money?" "We have a marker to check." The stupidity combined with the unnecessary attitude to a customer who, so far, is nothing but patient and kind, and is dressed-up in a suit btw, not some shifty guy who just walked across the highway... started to get to me. "So what special skill do you have that enables you use that marker but not him?" "I'm just enforcing the policy I'm told to." "Ok, well, maybe you should let, whoever you answer to, know that it's illegal to refuse legal tender, and that doing so could actually get you in trouble, legally. Maybe you could just tell your boss that some customer was really upset over it, please." "ok" "Thanks! Have a wonderful day!" I feel really bad for the grown men who have to work under this kid. I will deter everyone I can from this place. I'll forever promote Black Powder Smokehouse instead, which was already my honest...

Thank goodness the food was good. The service was terrible! I went through the drive thru. I only wanted to order 4 hot dogs. You'd think it wouldn't be hard right? NOT!! Aside from the fact that it wasn't very busy yet because it was only about 4pm on a Saturday afternoon, so no 5 o'clock traffic to worry about. There were 2 cars in front of me. So, we sat there for every bit of 5 minutes and THEN I heard somebody say, "Are you ready to order?". That was said to the car directly in front of me. I was like ok wow, they haven't ordered yet? They proceeded to order which took more time than it really should have. Then it was my turn. I pulled up to the speaker. Whoever came on the speaker was talking so fast I didn't realize she had asked me to hang on. I waited. She came back and I proceeded to order my 4 hot dogs. I said very slowly that I wanted 2 hot dogs with mustard, chilli, and Cole slaw. The next one was 1 hot dog all the way with Cole slaw. The last one was 1 hot dog with mayo, mustard and chilli with the Cole slaw on the side. Simple right? Well, she called the order back out to me and she had one wrong. She called it out again and had 2 wrong! REALLY?! Yep! She called it out again and she finally got it right. Now, there is only about 20 feet or so between the speaker and the window. She read my order back to me and one hot dog was wrong and another was totally missing! By now I was ready to just leave but it was the only place in the area I was in and I was hungry! So, I slowly told her my order, once again! I looked into the restaurant from my car and there was 6 people behind the line! I didn't see any customers ordering inside. I am trying to figure out why, out of all those teenagers, nobody could get my order right? So, it took about 3 or 4 minutes to get 4 hot dogs. I will probably never go back. It was ridiculous! It shouldn't have taken 2, 3 minutes tops, to make 4 hot dogs. All they had to do was put the toppings in them. With 6 people standing around doing nothing it probably shouldn't have taken 30 seconds! I do not recommend anybody go here unless you...

I would have gave a five star We have always loved bbq joes and we would order bbq and pulled ckn and grilled for our church dinners until recently on the 1st sat in Dec 2024 i had a lot of people ask me what happened to the bbq and pulled ckn and grilled im like i dont k. They said it didn’t taste right way to much salt and something else they wasn’t sure had to wash off the meat before they could eat it cause it was too much I didn’t stay for our Christmas dinner this yr so I didn’t taste it but today Thur 19th 2024 I placed a order for pulled ckn went by picked it up got home and started eating and im like what in the world this is not what I’ve been getting I looked closer and saw the dry rub over top of it im like no no no no I couldn’t eat it plus by adding that dry rub it’s way way way too salty especially for people that have high bp we have had to stop eating at a quite a few restaurants because of way too much salt in their food I would rather maybe have to add a tiny bit than have it so salty you can’t eat it I don’t know why restaurants and fast foods have to put so much salt why mess up a good thing just let a individual add their own salt or sauce to their taste I don’t know if you have new cooks or what but please please please stop putting the dry rub over the meats it don’t need it it is just right with your bbq sauce on the side it’s over kill the bbq sauce is just right on the side to add or not to add makes it great that way being left up to the individual but adding the extra dry rub is just way too much sorry and we have been ordering from bbq joes a very long time I would hate to have to look somewhere else for our church dinners and personal orders it would break my heart...
