Best Little Pizza House In... — Restaurant in Troutman

Pizza wasn’t too great, seemed like it was very bottom of the barrel ingredients from the crust to the sauce to the cheese and toppings. Restaurant just got remodeled and does look nicer but it really just got a face lift. Same old uncomfortable booths and chairs paired with cheap flimsy styrofoam plates and cups for your dining experience. My child fell out of one of the chairs and the chair smacked on the ground. The servers working there seemed to care and asked if she was okay (she is/was and I appreciated them asking) but shortly after the only words from the owner-herself s’ mouth were, “does my floor need a bandaid?” The servers/hosts were great and refilled our drinks frequently and the salad bar is pretty good. For the most part the place needs more than redecorating. And it could use an owner who cares about its guests/customers well being over a cheap old chair and stained...

The food is limited, and they have removed a lot of the buffet. They no longer do the buffet wings, and the buffet DOES NOT have custom pizzas that you can order; you can only have what they put out on THEIR choice. It is ridiculously overpriced for the subpar quality of pizza they provide. The salad bar is also ill-maintained; half of the options I put on my salad were stale or rotten. The croutons, for instance, were soft and had visible mold on them. The pizza bar is awful: the pizza is very greasy, and they do not seem to provide any alternate pizzas from what THEY decide to put out. We asked for a chicken pizza, as we are pollotarians, and we were denied that AND custom pizzas. The Mac and cheese they have is also oily, tasteless, and greasy. From the moment I walked in, until the time I left, I was made to feel extremely welcomed. Bright smiles greeted me and thanked me for coming... service 5 out of 5

The atmosphere was friendly, quiet, and exceptionally clean. It was around 315pm and a very chill vibe was what I got....5 out of 5

THE FOOD! Never have I tasted anything like the hot pocket or pizza pocket I had. This was absolutely the highlight of my dine in experience. I ordered wings and a pizza, and the wings, particularly the spicy peach, were 9.3 out of 10, and the pizza was on point as well, but that Pizza Pocket......AMAZING! It was the best thing I've had in a while from any restaurant. Must Try item!!! 5 out of 5
