Food Lion — Local services in Troutman

I dont know what it is about food lion whether it's their warehouse, or their stores are not cleaned properly, dirty transport trucks, or they just have old inventory, whatever the reason, but their food molds FAST if it isn't already covered in mold when I'm looking at it on their shelves. Every store I've been to in Charlotte, Mooresville, Troutman, and Statesville has had or gets mold on it within a couple days of buying it. No it isn't my fridge. This doesn't happen when I shop elsewhere for the same or comparable items. I found 8 containers of cheery tomatoes covered in mold, brought them to the front registers, let someone know and while I'm walking out of the store I literally see someone walk them back over and stock them on the shelf again. I literally don't shop here unless we're cooking food that night and it takes me twice as long to shop because I have to inspect every item I want to...

I absolutely adore this Food Lion! It truly feels like a breath of fresh air in the area. The store is impeccably clean and always well-stocked, making shopping enjoyable and efficient. I find that I can quickly grab what I need and be on my way without any hassle. The produce section is well designed. This location is the second one in Troutman, and it’s incredibly convenient for residents in the newer neighborhoods that have sprung up nearby.
