I would say 3/5 times I go to this location, my order is wrong in some way, shape, or form (and this is being generous). I will be missing/incorrect food items, drinks will be made wrong, etc. I understand mistakes happen but, it’s more often than not & there is never any kind of apology - they act annoyed. I try to avoid the location because of this, but it is only 2 minutes from my place, so often is the most convenient. Yesterday they did not have the food item I had ordered, and did not inform me of this until after I had already paid for said item. A refund was issued, but again, no apology & it was just another strike. Today, I was refused food because “ovens were down for the night”. I was told this at 5:26 PM… they close at 7 PM. As a Dunkin employee myself, turning ovens off over an hour and a half before closing time is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a latte and my regular order (Large, hot coffee with cream and 2 sugars - the only beverage I ever order for myself.)
Drive to the window. Worker gives me a small iced latte. I tell him we wanted hot. We did not specify, but he also didn't ask. He sighed heavily and went off to remake the latte. He came back with a small latte and a small coffee (both hot). I told him that I ordered a large coffee. He said that I didn't, to stop lying, and why was I being like this? My passenger acknowledged that she heard me order a large coffee and he sneered and started complaining about us not knowing what we were doing and making his life harder.
I drove off without my order. Abusive behavior is not why I go to Dunkin.
There were no other customers there, there were no customers that left immediately before us. I suspect he was angry that we interrupted his break time.
