Inferno Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Ordered wings, small pie, 2 liter, Order #86 on 4/8/17 taken by Christina. An hour later the driver doesn't call or ring bell, just whispers on my door with a faint knock which I happened to hear. He proceeds to hand me wings, and starts walking away. "Whoa, where's the pizza?" He looks at me like I'm speaking Mandarin and presenting him with a chicken. Doesn't believe me at first. Right there on the ticket in his hand, it shows the order. "Sorry", he keeps mumbling, walking away. Says it like four times. Finally I say, "you are coming back with the rest, right?" "Oh yeah", he says, and wanders off into the night like a Chupacabra. Obviously never heard from this guy again. Restaurant not answering phone.

Now the wings, to add to this experience... Wings were actually fine, except it was like this ass hat had SHAKEN THE BAG IN A DRYER. Sauce EVERYWHERE, all over the bag, all over the container, total goddamn mess.

Inferno must hate me. Well now I hate them. Worst experience I've ever had ordering pizza, not exaggerating, and it was the fact this punk LIED TO MY FACE that this goes waaaay beyond a mere bad night which I could forgive.

I can't wait to drive down there to tear open the manager tomorrow over this, and just pray he straight up fires this kid when he shows...

Every other pizza place was busy, so I looked around for local pizza places. The 3.5 star review kinda scared me but I was hungry and craving pizza, and they were close so I bit the bullet and I'm glad I did! The staff was knowledgeable and helpful when taking my order over the phone, the pizza arrived hot and fresh and tasted great, a little salty, but not too much and delivery for me was super quick. And theyre one of the few places that still accept cash on delivery which is nice, so i made sure to tip the driver. The price was more than reasonable, as I got more pizza than I would at defazios for about half the price! When it comes to quality, you can't beat defazios, but Inferno is a close second, and will be my go to when they're too busy, instead of dominoes. (I got a large meat lovers, 2liter of Pepsi and a couple cannolis) If they were bad at one time, it seems like they're trying to...

I've ordered pizza from here a few times since I moved to the area and it's fine, not amazing, definitely not the best pizza I've had in the area, but fine. Today as I drove past on my way home one of the delivery drivers (woman in a dark colored SUV) pulled out of a side street, across Campbell at an angle, and right into the parking lot without looking to her left at all. In fact, her head was turned all the way to the right the entire time as I slammed on my breaks to avoid crashing into her. This almost caused a multiple car pile up as everyone behind me also had to slam their brakes on. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager but after the conversation I do not have high hopes that will be dealt with at all. This is not really a reflection on the mediocre pizza, more of a comment on the overall management...
