I was excited to try this place after seeing it for a while especially because I love fries and I thought due to the name it was fry speciality place, however the fries were not good at all. They had like burnt ends and brown I guess because it says fresh cut but they were not what they should’ve been. I also got an order of Beignets and those weren’t that great either. I didn’t even finish those. The only thing that was good that I ordered was the burger. I was really disappointed with the food. The service was also not that great either. The girl taking my ordered acted as though she didn’t want to be bothered or be there, mind you I was the only person in the place. I also asked for ketchup for my burger and my fries and didn’t get any in my bag so I had to go back inside after getting to my car to get some and then she only gave me one. No napkins or anything. Although I liked the burger it’s not a place I’ll be frequenting or...
Read moreTried Fryboeg for the first time on Sunday. We were visiting Connecticut and had heard about Fryborg's from a places to eat web page. Fryborg's did not disappoint. We had a chicken sandwich, cheese steak, and pattymelt and of course the fries. My chicken sandwich was the best chicken I have ever had. My son and husband enjoyed the sandwich they had. Now for the fries. The were the best fries. I have ever had. (And I've had fries in Amsterdam). We also tried the milkshakes, which were fantastic. My son had the grilled peanut butter and fluff sandwich for dessert. Overall the best comfort food available. The portions are large, restaurant was clean, location was easy to find and plenty of parking. Jon, the owner, was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will visit again on our next trip. Give them a try, you won't be...
Read moreThe only thing worse than a bad restaurant is an inconsistent one. I've had a past order that was FANTASTIC all around. Though the first and the last orders of the 3 I've attempted were terrible. Missing order items like a shake and sauces, and those that I did receive were on the most godawful dry, stale bread that were difficult to actually bite as if they were microwaved and left out for a day. That was for both a hot dog and a burger. When it was good, it was perfect. When it was bad, it was nearly inedible. I'm guessing I got stuck with the B squad the two bad times, but the orders were at least a year apart. If you're willing to gamble on who happens to be working, give it a shot. Though unfortunately, don't be surprised if you go on a bad-staff day and throw out...
