This review is going to go back a month or so ago as well as my current review. A month ago, we were camping at the lake and wanted pizza. We found this place on Google and decided to try them out. We called... and called again... and called again, no answer. So we ended up going to another pizza place a little further down the street who answered their phone. Now for today's order. We are camping at the lake again and wanted pizza. Called this place again and guess what....no answer! So we decided to drive to the restaurant and place our order for take out while we went and did grocery shopping. We ordered the large meat pizza, which was delicious! Now, onto the garlic bites or whatever they want to call them....GROSS!!! On the drive back to our campground, we wanted to try one of them since we were all pretty hungry. All of us were instantly disgusted with a super bitter and disgusting after taste. Tasted like way over use of garlic or just a bad recipe.I wanted to try it again thinking maybe dipping it in the marinara sauce would be good, nope! Could still taste the bitterness of them. They looked like fish sticks or chicken nuggets. (Look at the picture) Super weird. All were different sizes and shapes. I can't even describe them. I'm not even sure what the taste was, but to say the least, we wouldn't even touch the rest of it and throw it out. The pizza was good and we will go back for that.
Update 6/30/23
We are camping at the lake and wanted some pizza. We decided to give Sidekixx another try since they have, I believed, switched ownership recently. They totally redeemed themselves from our last experience. I made an online order for a medium cheese pizza, add bacon, sausage, and green chile. It was delicious! Thank you for a wonderful dinner. We will be back!
UPDATE: 8/30/24 Ugh. Disappointed. I ordered the southwest chicken salad...NOTHING about this salad says "southwest."" The "grilled" chicken was crumbled and tasted like bland canned chicken. No lemon flavor at all! Completely different from what their photo looks like, even with their photo showing the crispy chicken. $14 for lettuce, couple cucumbers and tomatoes, and a handful of bell peppers with canned chicken. Highly dissatisfied. Attached are photos of what I got compared to what they advertise. The pizza was good as usual. Garlic bites are...
Read moreStopping at Sidekixx during a long road trip was a stroke of luck, turning an ordinary pit stop for food into a memorable highlight of our journey. Tucked away in the heart of this quaint small town, Sidekixx is a delightful surprise that seamlessly blends the thrill of bowling with the satisfaction of delectable dining. Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable evening at this charming establishment, and I must say, it far exceeded all expectations.
Let's talk about the food – particularly the pizza. Oh, what a delight it was! Freshly baked to perfection, each slice of pizza boasted a tantalizing combination of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet wonderfully fluffy on the inside, providing the ideal foundation for the mouthwatering toppings. But it was the cheese that truly stole the show – creamy, gooey, and bursting with flavor, it elevated every bite to new heights of culinary bliss.
Not only was the pizza a standout dish, but everything else on the menu also showcased the same level of quality and attention to detail. The street tacos were equally up to the challenge. Every dish we tried seemed to be expertly crafted using the freshest ingredients available.
However, what truly set Sidekixx apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their friendly attitudes and genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. From assisting with equipment to friendly banter, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and appreciated.
Overall, Sidekixx is more than just a place to bowl and grab a bite to eat – it's a community hub where fun, affordability, and outstanding service come together to create unforgettable memories. Whether you're planning a family outing or a night out with friends, this charming establishment is sure to exceed your...
Read moreWe had the Margherita pizza the first visit and it was literally one of the best I’ve ever had. Soooo tasty. The crust was on point. We went back the very next night and again got the Margherita pizza with the BBQ Pulled Pork pizza. Amazing. The BBQ sauce was a little overbearing so I’ll ask for light sauce next time. We tried the Spinach and Artichoke Dip & Boneless Wings. So delicious, I dipped my pizza crust in the dip. The chips weren’t the best, warm pita would definitely compliment better, but the dip itself was so good there was definitely none leftover! The Boneless Wings offered a large portion with big wings. We ordered half Buffalo, half BBQ but they came all BBQ. No big deal, although I definitely would love to try the Buffalo. All in all the whole experience was awesome. I wish I had taken pictures but it was all devoured almost immediately. Ha. The wait staff were welcoming, very pleasant and offered a drink while we waited for the to-go order to be prepared. The ambiance was very chill and the restaurant felt very clean. We will definitely visit often. It’s rare to have such a excellent restaurant experience these days so I truly appreciate it when it’s better than expected. Keep up the great work! Xoxo
Update: August 2021 Still absolutely delicious. Pleasant and quick. Curbside service always on point. Thanks guys.
Update: 2022 STILL THE BEST! 🥳 Always delicious and always on point... Hands down the best restaurant in T or C. Thanks for the perfect birthday dinner. 🍕
Update: June 2022 Stopped in Saturday @4pm for 2 Cheeseburger baskets and 2 Buffalo Chicken Pizzas. Not sure why, but it took about 45 minutes for this order. The burgers looked great, but were extremely salty. Fries weren’t cooked. Neither of us enjoyed the Cheeseburger baskets at all. Went to the trash. The pizza was delicious, as always. Overall, seemed like an off day....
