Update!!? So here is the deal. This was by far the best place for a beer and burger in the area. No debate or discussion. BUT and this is a HUGE but....they are no longer partner with PDX Sliders. What was Simon without Garfunkel? The Beatles without John? There is a reason 1 and 1 can add up to 3. The parts are more than their sum. It was perfect. Now it is just great beer and really really really average food. Really average. Yes it was kobi beef but it was lacking in flavor and tasted like a frozen patty and honestly was no better than the meat at any fast food place. Both my wife and I just went meh. It is not even in the top half of burgers we have had. Fries. Just sprinkle generic Cajun seasoning on frozen fries. Friend had slamon burger but was messy with too much sauce. Once again nothing to remember. Oh and after eating half my burger the center was raw. And I mean raw. Finally a brewpub in the Tualatin area worth going to. Great variety of beer from Irish Cream to strong IPA. Throw in PDX Sliders for food and this is one amazing place for beer and food. Can't go wrong here.

The beer and people were awesome, but unfortunately my husband severely burned hus finger and lip on onion rings. if my kid had grabbed one, omgosh. they didn't say they were THAT hot. also his burger was raw, not pink, but raw in very center. I guess he should have asked for it well done in retrospect but, they should ask too. My food was great. I had the Genesee sandwich. ... the fries are small tho and seem just a base for the fry flavors. like garlic and parmesean. overall a decent experience just... for a first time not over impressed.

Poor customer service wrecked my first impressions. Arbitrary rules enforced by unqualified young people to get seated or just get a beer. We were presented with an awkward rule matrix of what our potential order might be to determine our seating order while others were seated promptly. The atmosphere was pretty cool industrial design. The menu looked okay for burgers or pub fare. The 1 beer I did manage to get was okay. Prices seemed reasonable. With so many breweries and great places around I'll likely steer clear of ancestry.

I took my Grandparents, Sister and kids to Ancestry for dinner tonight. Upon arriving the host was amazing! We had a larger group and the restaurant was pretty full but she wasn't fazed by the possible stress in fact she moved tables together and even moved them in a way so that we didn't have to stare directly into the sun! The food was great, I ordered The Morrison chicken sandwich & it was perfect, so fresh tasting and full of flavor. Sadly, our server SUCKED!!! I requested to buy merchandise and she totally forgot to get back to me, she literally had to be tracked down just to get our order taken and she was so busy doing side work that once our dinner came she never checked back. My daughters order came out wrong & we just had to deal with it because no one checked on us. I had to ask multiple other people for help with finding our server just so I could order a pint after sampling a flight. Bree get yo' ish together because even though the beer was good and the food was tasty bad service could keep this family from ever coming back! There are lots of options out...

Great beer but unfortunately crappy service. Out of the 5 times I've been there, I haven't once been treated well by persons behind the counter or out on the floor. The second and third time we were there, we had to wait for a near by server who looked our way several times before coming over to even take our order. And lol we wanted was drinks. Thus is much better as a stop for a growler fill then a place to hang out.

When there's was a "please wait to be seated" sign at the entrance, 3 different employees looked at us and walked away before we finally gave up and walked to the bar. During that same trip, we were then "shooed" out 4 minutes after closing by one of their employees who seemed more concerned with their after work gatherings than letting us finish. Mind you, both my significant other and I have worked in the restaurant industry and had no plans to stay for longer than 5 minutes more to finish our beers that we paid for, since we didn't want to inconvenience the employees; we were however greater with rudeness. I wouldn't recommend hanging OT there to my...
