A&E Cafe — Restaurant in Tualauta County

Visited the A&E cafe in American Samoa because it was within walking distance of where we were staying and also because our initials are A and E! I don’t know why others experienced bad service but we didn’t at all. It was mainly empty on the Tuesday we went and found a nice table. The waitress immediately took our drink order and shortly afterwards took our food orders. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp and the chicken stir fry with rice and Mac salad. My wife got a burger and fries. The bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing as was the chicken stir fry. The burger was juicy and seasoned well. The bread was very fresh and soft. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to even try the food. We ended up walking out based on the horrid customer service. It took a long time before they even acknowledged us (it was only half full of customers) and when she was stomping over to our table she did no greeting, no smile and didn’t bother to give any of our 4 children a menu. She then demanded want we wanted to drink. We just got up and walked out. Very rude. Not sure if it was because I’m a palagi and my husband is Samoan. I would not recommend and we will never return. Agree w/ Laci regarding the food being better than most and the servers being inattentive. Called in an order for pick-up and was told they'll call when ready.
