Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Tucson

I hate this location... So Im a single mom no car me and my baby i live across the street from this dairy queen ive never been there but i will never try to go there again in my life i went around 10am and went to the window the place didnt have anyone there no customers or cars so i have my daughter in the stroller we walk across go to the window and they open the window and say its closed i asked them if when they open do i come to the window cause i dont have a car they said yes i said ok thank you. So i waited till 11am i left my daughter home with my sister cause she just got to my house i tell her hey im gonna get ice cream acrose the street it just opened want any thing so we picked what we wanted i walked across the street went to the menu and they said on the speaker that NO WALK UP SERVICE I SAID I JUST WAS HERE AND YOU SAID IT WAS ALRIGHT NOT JUST THAT BUT ARE YOU GUYS KIDDING ME IM OUTSIDE OF YOUR BUILDING IN A STREET AND YOUR WINDOWS ARE COMPLETELY BOARDED UP I CAN'T ORDER FROM THE WINDOW I WALKED HERE TWICE AND YOU GUYS SAID IT WAS OKAY THIS IS MESSED UP THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A SINGLE CAR OR CUSTOMER I WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE AND THEY WOULD NOT SERVE ME !!! !!! Just got home from this dairy Queen and here's my opinion. Looks like there's a gate surrounding the entire place that they might close up the entire property with a lock and key after it's closed, but I can't be sure. The patio has a 8-ft steel fence around it. Maybe to keep people safe. Maybe to keep certain people in and others out. I don't know. I've never seen this at a dairy Queen before. Service was prompt. Pretty sure I got the size I asked for but the blizzard was not filled to the top of the cup. Maybe half an inch shy of the top prices were a little less expensive than the dairy Queen on the east side, which was interesting to see. The s'mores blizzard I ordered had plenty of flavor but as I got about halfway down I noticed there was no more topping and it was all just ice cream with a little bit of s'mores flavor in it. I've never experienced this at other dairy Queens before so I don't know if it's just a way to skimp toppings and saved cost, but probably won't come here again. I went to the drive thru to order 2 large old fashioned strawberry sodas. One girl asked me what was in that. Then she tells me that they are discontinued. Then she goes on and tells me that only certain employees only know how to make those. I explained that I have ordering old fashioned soda for years it is no different than making a strawberry milk shake but you are adding carbonated water to it. She made a big deal about not wanting to make it then I asked for a manager. The same voice came on the speaker and tried to tell me that they don't make those there. I was disgusted and disappointed at the service I got from this place. Not understanding how the employees can use that it was discontinued as an excuse to not do their job. If it is truly discontinued then I hope and encourage another ice cream place to start making what Dairy Queen doesn't. Dairy queen needs to address their employees attitude and poor customer service tactics because the employees and management are sharing the same brain.
