Unfortunately this location is known for completely getting your order wrong missing items read staff not caring and blatantly ignoring you and that's just to get into order now you would think during a pandemic did they would have their delivery app drivers allowed to go to the drive-thru to order their food to remain safe as we are Frontline essential workers coming in contact with the entire public they have made us go inside to order Tire duration of this pandemic. We doordash Postmates whoever you are that you're working through have absolutely no protection when it comes to the direction of the store managers or the owners of the specific location here in our town at least to protect us to at least show that they care about us that's not the case. I was told when I went to the drive-thru that I had to go inside to place the order for Postmates even after I asked even during the pandemic and they said yes this is how they've always been doing it so no protection whatsoever from KFC for those of us whose taking their product and delivering it to the customers so they can remain in business. I guess the little person really doesn't catch a break the catch the Corona for sure but we won't catch a break. This is horrific that they would put us in our lives and our family members and you the public their customers at risk because they won't let us simply order through the drive-thru stop placing a personal order I'd have to go to the drive-thru but these apt deliveries we have to go inside ridiculous absolutely ridiculous. Now my personal order that I had last month which would have been April of 2020 during the pandemic I had to place that order three separate times in order to get everything I ordered the first time around and I had to pay full price all three times for an item they forgot to put into my order I didn't get reimbursed through the app and I did not get reimbursed from KFC it took 3 hours for me to be able to get a simple Buffalo spicy Famous Bowl that was placed in the original order $60 order that was the one item they missed that I completely messed up my order cuz I didn't even get the chicken that I actually ordered I ordered a 18 piece and got an eight piece where's the other 10 pieces of chicken I ordered and paid for I'm just saying it's been years and unfortunately on the Eastside of Tucson all three locations that we had were owned by the same owner when the first one went up in Flames here on 22nd Craycroft and then they moved over to Tanque Verde and Kolb close that store now the only one we have left is the one on golf-links and Kolb it's been downhill it's just been downhill the owner does not care the store managers have tried to make changes but the owner does not care pandemic. we doordash Postmates whoever you are that you're working through have absolutely no protection when it comes to the direction of the store managers or the owners of these specific locations here and our town at least to protect us to at least show that they care about us that's not the care. No heart or morals with KFC eastside...
Read moreI work for a group home. I, along with one other staff watch over 3 elderly ladies. Each has behavioral and mental disabilities. Every Sunday, which is the highlight of their week, we stop at KFC for two of them to get a #5 and #6. This is a tradition for two of these ladies that has gone on for over a year. There used to be a worker there who understood our unique circumstance and took our order, no delay, we were serviced with a smile. We always had a great encounter. Our unique circumstance is that the drive thru was, I assumed, to be used to convenience for those who cannot get out of their vehicle, or do not want to get out of their vehicle or for other various reasons. It is very difficult to get all three ladies out of the car, into the restaurant, without much production. Hence the reason we use the drive thru. Because each lady is given a budget by the state, we need separate receipts. So this makes the drive thru order, two separate orders from one car. The last 2 months or so, we have no longer seen this worker(I assume he has moved on to brighter pastures). I hope he moved up in your company. If he did not, your company is poorer for having let him go or not recognizing his stellar work. However, back to my story, since his departure, every time we go through the drive thru we are met with much resistance to fulfill the two separate orders. They began to warn us that they cannot do two separate orders and they were doing us a favor(which we always thanked them for), but eventually they would no longer take these two orders and we would need to come inside. Your competitor, Popeyes, is down the street. It is not an inconvenience to go to them instead. However, I felt compelled to write to cast a light on how the little things bring value to a business or lose a customer. This most recent past Sunday they refused to split the order. I told them we have been doing this for over a year. I asked to speak to the manager to explain a particular/unique position and he was not very amicable nor willing to listen. I would understand, perhaps, if it were busy but we were the only customers in the drive thru when we got there and when this ordeal was over. Some of the employees were outside standing on the wall because it was so slow at that moment we arrived. The manager said this was the last time. The ladies in the van felt very uncomfortable because they picked up on the managers tone of voice and we were all very surprised by his flippant behavior. Now we go to Popeyes down on Kolb and 22nd. Its not worth the hassle and Popeye's is happy to...
Read moreSo I really wanted some hot fresh chicken . My son and his girlfriend was at the house . I told them I’ll go get us a feast I’m going to KFC . So I get there it’s about 1 pm on a Sunday . When got in there there is an older man with his grandson waiting for there order one employee eating in the dining room one out in the parking lot visiting her friend . I go i to the counter I was there a good 8 to ten minutes when a lady said “ sir ,we’ll be right with you , I smile and say do your thing I’m in no hurry. She told the old fella “sir we have to cook the tenders it will be a little bit. He said that will be just fine. She comes to me and I told her I wanted the 16 family meal half original and half extra crispy. I paid the 50 bucks and sit and waited in the dining room about fifteen minutes she came to y to he counter and did he’s your order .and walk off like she was busy . So I drove back home talk the kinds let’s eat ,we started making our plates .First rice I pulled out was a tiny piece of a wing with no drumstick part . Hmmm . Then I pulled out a extra crispy thigh it was so hard so old very nasty , so I threw my first two in the trash got. Couple more pieces out some old as I pulled the thigh cold side it was just gross the chocked was old ,hard , and clearly the chicken was raw in the center . O M G! This is absolutely non edible. The kids ate the slaw and potatoes and gravy . I looked in the fridge nd made me a lunch meat sandwich .we threw the remaining chicken in the trash. This was very disappointing not only because when I was a kid i have really positive memories of KFC but that was back in the sixties . Today especially at this.location they don’t care what they serve people ,I’ve been sick all night gut cramping .I still smell that meal it smelled like a dirty trash can .I’m sure I’ve had a worse meal in my life , but I sure can’t remember a worse one. So my point is folks ,do not ever venture into this place . I m not even going to call them and complain ,it doesn’t do anything except them getting all negative and combative. Because they are the ones that put all the old hard chicken in the box. They knew they were putting nothing but trash in those containers . So I paid $50 to get sick . These kids have absolutely no conscious, no moral fiber ,no loyalty , to their store, to their product , and most certainly not the...
