3 stars has everything to do with the blonde worker not the actual ice cream itself. When we first walked in we got warnings of a tornado so we figured better safe to just hang out for 15 min. We came in with my parents and our 4 littles (1,4,5,6 years old) we had a lovely brunette girl who helped us and after about ten minutes a blonde girl walked in- doesn’t say hello or anything. The rain and wind started picking up pretty bad so we asked if we could move the kids by the bathroom door just so they could be away from the door in case a tornado does come through. (it’s not that big of an establishment) the brunette girl said oh ya of course. Moments later the blonde was adamant about us leaving “you guys are fine it’s just rain, oh ya you guys are good to go” my husband said there’s sightings of a tornado being reported on the news? The blonde must have said 5 more time no you’re good to go. Girl you might as well have told us to just get the hell out. It was so dark, rain was soooo bad and she was basically forcing us out. It’s not like we didn’t just buy ice cream. If that wasn’t worse enough she then told us “can you guys move in front of the register? We really aren’t allowed to have anyone back here”. Ya sure no problem. Talk about no customer service let alone some decent kindness. Our girls were visibly scared but she didn’t care. She then took a phone call where she stepped to the back to whisper on a call making it even more apparent she was talking about us. She basically pushed us out. She needs to be educated on...

I was visiting the area from out of town and needed to find a location with dairy free options. Legacy Creamery popped up on my search, and I love supporting small local businesses, so I decided to check it out.

I’m used to ice cream shops offering sorbet options as dairy free, but Legacy had TWO dairy free options that weren’t sorbet. My fiancé was so excited and loved both flavors.

I can have dairy and decided on the Biscoff cookie flavor and WOW… it did not disappoint! It was delicious!! I wished I had gotten a bigger size.

I would also like to give a shoutout to the employees. They were so sweet.

I will definitely be back the next...

Superb gelato in a million inventive flavors! It was so hard to choose. The staff were some of the most authentically friendly people I’ve ever encountered. Fabulous experience. Small detail but I loved how they offer 2 sizes of waffle cones - I got the smaller size. Normally they’re massive and so I skip them. Only flaw in our experience was said waffle cone was stale. But still tasted good. the affordability of the Tiny size is almost hard to believe, and it’s plenty for me. Can’t wait to be back in T Town so we can...

First time visiting...The flavor is nice and creamy. But even in this economy $7.50 plus tax for a medium and it gets scrapped even over the top is too expensive IMO. Picture posted. I'm from the area and recently moved to Virginia Beach and I can get a quart to take home for that price at our local gelato shop! But as long as customers are happy that's all that matters.

Great little hidden ice cream (gelato) place. I got the coffee crunch which was amazing. They do not skimp on the coffee flavor! The building is behind the bigger building on the street so you need to go behind it to find Legacy. I drove past it at first. The profits go to a local foundation.
