I decided to try this restaurant tonight so I ordered for delivery. 75 minutes pass and I call back to ask about the status of my pizza, because that's a bit long for one pizza. The lady answers and asks if I want carry out or delivery. I start to explain that I have already ordered and was just checking the status when she cuts me off and says "the delivery driver just got back, he was knocking and knocking and called you ten times." I had received no phone calls and had been staring at my front door salivating for pizza since making the call over an hour ago, trust me, no one had knocked! She then proceeds to tell me I must have given her the wrong number. Lady, I've had the same phone number since I was 12 years old. This was the number for a Nokia yellow monster. I did NOT give you the wrong number, you must have entered it wrong. She then spits at me over the phone "well I guess I can send him back then." I told her I was no longer interested in her pizza and just wanted a refund. I've never done that before, but I got to tell you it was pretty satisfying.
Anywho, never going to try ordering from her again. If you work for this establishment and know the insanely rude phone answer-er lady on Wednesday nights, please remind her that you do not yell at customers period, most definitely not customers who have done nothing wrong. Atrocious...
Read moreOn Sept 13, I placed an online curbside order over an hour in advance for 2 pizzas to pick up at 6:00. My husband went to pick them up and although he notified the store twice that he was waiting in the parking lot, no one acknowledged him. After waiting until 6:15, he went inside. Our pizzas were sitting in their boxes in the warming tray. When he got home, we discovered neither one was correct. One had the wrong toppings and the other had the wrong crust. I tried to call the store, but hung up after 52 minutes (no joke) on hold. So I called the store today, and the woman said they were insanely busy yesterday and they'll give me 15 percent off my next order!!! They gave me the wrong food (late), wouldn't answer their own phone, and can't even be decent enough to comp just one of the pizzas. We have been loyal customers since we moved into the area but apparently Howie's does not appreciate regulars. No thanks to your very sad 15% offer. I won't ever order from you again. No one else should. If you mess up like that and are not willing to make it right you don't deserve...

I came from Michigan and I loved Hungry Howies so when I found out that there was one down the street from me I was ecstatic. Today, November 4, 2018 i ordered pizza and pop. Colin, the delivery guy brought my food but not the pop and stated that the manager Toby told him to tell me that I could not order anymore food because I stole a pop a few days prior, and that they had video footage . I actually didn’t steal anything because I hadn’t ordered food when the theft took place. I called the store and Toby was very rude when I told him that it was not me. He said that he knew that it was me and that I was lying. He also stated that I needed to do the right thing and pay $3.00 for a pop that I never stole, and that I could not order food anymore from there!
