Hello, this place is refreshing because of its French culture displayed on the walls — the paintings and the chandelier are beautiful. But, but, honestly, they have very poor logic and strategy for attending to customers: they made us stand and wait for 23 minutes! We were in a line behind 9 other people. Only three tables were full. And still, they made us wait a long time! There were also two couples sitting aside waiting for their orders. They were certainly busy, but it turns out the same cashier was also the person delivering food to the tables, and even the lady in the kitchen also came out to bring food to the tables.

And even while we were right there, ready to order, a man came out to deliver two onion soups. So finally, when it’s our turn to order, the lady tells us to wait a moment — which ends up being another 5 minutes, while she answers the phone and does other things. Then she tells us they don’t have the custard-filled pastries, no croissants either.

Then we saw the prices: a sandwich with béchamel sauce, ham, cheese, and egg was $12.50! Incredibly expensive — for one person, and a sandwich without beef or chicken. Then a Nutella crepe for the same price! And two coffees with spray whipped cream — $4.50 each! And to top it off, they bring us the coffee not in a ceramic cup, even though we were sitting in a French café! Oh my God — in France, that would be a crime! Serving coffee in a disposable cup inside the café? Oh my God!

Then she told us our food would arrive in 15 to 20 minutes! We were about to leave, but since it was our first time here, the two of us really wanted to try the food. The taste wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad either… However, we didn’t order one dish each, because honestly, it’s expensive per person for the small portions and the poor service.

Recommendation: allow people who are dining in to sit down right away! Let them order and pay from the table, or bring them the check later! But it makes no sense to have them stand in line to pay first and then wait again for the food to be ready before eating! And offer something to eat while we wait for the main dish. And please serve the coffee in ceramic cups! And make espresso coffee — the one we got was very watery. Is it French coffee or is it American coffee pretending to be French?

We’re sorry if we sound harsh with this criticism, but if you’re calling your place a French restaurant — then serve like they do in France, and offer European coffee, not American-style. If people are ordering to-go, they can wait in line. But people dining in should be seated and offered snacks or soups, drinks, etc. so they consume something while waiting for the main dish or desserts.

We waited inside the restaurant one hour to eat a sandwich and a crepe. There were 9 or 10 tables, and only 4 of them were occupied, with 2–4 people at each. We appreciate the food because it was tasty, but please improve the service and serve coffee in ceramic cups. Transport us to France — and play French music...

I visited this restaurant 6/21/26. We had a party of 7. When we showed up there were only 4 of us, as the other 3 were running late. The tables are set up for only 2-4 people. There was a party nearby of 4 or 5 that had pushed a couple of tables together. The 4 of us sat at a 4 top near the door to politely wait for the others to leave at which point we planned to take over that larger table. A woman came over to check on us- we told her our plan, we were not in any hurry and assumed it was okay for us to just sit and wait as there were plenty of other 2 top tables available in case other people came in. She stated "I am not going to ask them to leave" ... we would never ask anyone to leave. Once that table did leave we got up and moved over to it. We moved the chairs we were sitting in back into place. (I feel that this is important to mention so you're aware we were not being disrespectful or rude in any way) we did move another 2 top table over to the larger table bc as I mentioned before, we had 7 people. The aforementioned woman came back over to us and said that we could not have that other table and could only have the 2 already moved together because we said we only had seven people and that one of us could sit at the end. She would not let us have a 7th chair from the main dining area and brought out a different style of fold out chair for our 7th to sit in at the end of the table. The woman DID come back out and tell us that we could have another table if we really needed it bc i think she could tell we were agitated. There were several other tables open for other customers so it just shouldn't have been an issue.

Now that we have a table, we go to the counter to order. I ordered the bacon and onion quiche, the banana and caramel crepe, an iced vanilla latte, and a bottle of water. With tip my total was $39. I was fine with this because I'm from out of town and just wanted to try what they had. Everything looked delicious and prior reviews were great. I was told before ordering that the crepe would take approximately 30 minutes. That was fine with me. As I stated previously, we were not in a rush.

2 workers brought my quiche over to me and told me "we accidentally heated up the wrong quiche". And they asked me if I could just eat the one they heated up. I said yes. I felt like at this point it was not going well & I didn't want to have any more conflict.

The iced vanilla latte was just okay. It had about 3 ice cubes in it.

The crepe was burned. Black flakes. Charred taste.

The cafe was adorable but for me, a...

In case you didn’t know, a Crêpe is a fancy French version of a tortilla that is usually served rolled up like a burrito of folded over like a quesadilla. They can be filled with something sweet or something that is not sweet, like eggs and cheese, (kinda like a breakfast burrito.) They are rarely filled with beans and rice and hot sauce is not a commonly used condiment.

The café normally opens at 10 AM. Today there was a sign on the door informing customers to the café’s late start of 10:20. Down the street to QT we went, to top off the gas tank and kill a few minutes. There was a line when we returned. Someone must not have shown up for work. The owner/chef was hastily taking orders at the cash register, encouraging customers to make up their mind and point at the menu pictures to more quickly communicate their selection. My wife and I had studied the menu before we left home. We knew what we wanted. Under pressure, finding our selection on the menu printed with French names and English subtitles was a challenge. A La Banane for me and a La Biquette for my wife. I really wanted a plain cup of coffee, but the owner strongly recommended the Café Viennois. With the line cleared the owner /chef got to work. A few minutes later another employee showed up and food started rolling out of la cuisine.

The menu is online, so I won’t bore you with the ingredients of each meal that we had. Unless you are fluent in French pastry terms you will need to study it closely before you go to the café anyway. My La Banne was fresh, sweet and rich. Check the pictures. The crêpe was delicious. I could have eaten a couple of crêpes plain. They were that good. The La Biquette is an amazing combination of flavors and tastes: sweet honey, tangy goat cheese, nutty walnuts, and a hint of woodsy Rosemary. An unusual and delicious combination.

The Café Viennois with its big dollop of Chantilly was very good, but it was a little too much sweet to have with the La Banane.

Order and pay at the counter. The food is delivered to your comfortable, cozy little table. Friendly attentive service. The only thing really fancy about the café besides the French names of the pastries, are the rich decadent looking, amazing works of art in the pastry display case. This is not your...
