This place is going downhill the longer it is open. I placed an order with them and used their very handy "order tracking" service. I saw the "being prepared" message, saw the "baking" message, then saw the "ready" message. I got excited and started getting things ready on my end (plates, drinks, etc.). I come back to check the status expecting "on the way," but it still said "pizza ready." It's was a Saturday afternoon, maybe they were busy? I waited 5 minutes then checked again. Still just "pizza ready." I started to check every 5 minutes. Still the same, "pizza ready." After 20 minutes of my pizza being ready and not moving i called. I was told they were waiting for a driver and it would be another 20 or 30 minutes. I started to worry. I hung up and BANG my status was changed to "On the way." 20 minutes later I get a call from the driver, he's at the wrong apartments wondering why he can't find my number. I helped him with directions. When he got here it was a driver I recognized that had done deliveries here before. He recognized me. "I thought that was you," he said after making my order even later. The pizza box wasn't even warm anymore. The pizza inside (a specialty cheese pizza) was just barely above room temp, was hard, and not worth the money or time I'd spent. Read moreWell, I thought this Marcos had their act together, but I guess not. I ordered online a couple days ago and went to pick up my food at the ETA. When I approached the counter, they asked if I was "picking up for Josh" and I told them no, I am picking up for Joe. They seemed confused. I showed them my order on the phone and told them my order number.
They told me that they deleted my order because my name and order was too similar to "Josh's" order. This doesn't make any sense to me because Josh and Joe are completely different names, and I also had different things in my order. Because they didn't have my order on file anymore, I had to repeatedly correct what they were preparing because for some reason they thought I had the same order as "Josh" even though I did not.
They then tried to charge me again for the food, even though I already paid online. They said that since my order was cancelled, I would be refunded, but as of right now the charge from Marco's is still pending on my card. I'm glad I refused to pay on the spot because it's looking like they're going to charge me in full for the order anyway.
I think I'm done with Marco's. Ordering from here feels like a gamble, and I'd rather go somewhere that is consistently good. It's a shame because I thought this store had improved, but it's not worth the stress of wondering if my order is going to be made or not.

Read more6:30PM I called Marcos to make sure that they where excepting online orders and to ask about how long it would be to have 3 Large pizzas and 1 order of bread sticks delivered. They said if I placed a mobile order right now it could be by my house at 7PM (I only live 5 mins away).
I place my mobile order at 6:35PM almost $70 worth of food.
7:30PM I call to make sure everything is okay and the food (although 30 minutes late) was on its way.. They inform me it HASNT BEEN STARTED and that they had a LARGE order come in after mine and mine was no longer prioritized. Very frustrated, I tell them to cancel the order and that I'll be getting food elsewhere.
7:50PM I get an email that my food is on its way. I call Marcos to ask why when 20mins prior I cancelled my order. I get told that my food is done, and that they can send a driver or I can come pick it up..
I go to pick up my order, they did refund my money. When I get there my last pizza isn't even done. And no one there seems to really care that the customer service and time management has been EXTREMELY POOR.
8:10PM I get home with my order and most of the pizza is cold except for the one they took out of the oven after 5 mins of me being there. The cheese bread is spongy and soggy.. very disappointed.
Not to mention, When I went to pick up the inside of Marcos was very dirty and there was cheese sprinkles seemingly EVERYWHERE..
