A Hill of Beans Expresso Inc (HOB) — Restaurant in Tumwater

I am usually not a person that likes to make reviews but today was the last strike for me. I been going to a hills of beans for a very long time every morning. The past couple of years the service has always been great they were quick enough but this past year the waiting time has increase really bad like I have to literately sit there for 20-30 minutes at a time just to get a coffee. This morning I was behind one car away from the serving window and the other line that faces the traffic side had about 3 cars. Everyone on that side got served and left, mean while I am still behind one car away from being at the window and sat there for about 25 mins and the person only was handed one coffee and payed. After that the amount of time this person sat there chatting with the girls was insane. I ended up backing out and left, as I left this person was still there chatting. I didn’t go to the next lane because by the time I was backing out to go around two cars were already pulling up. I am so angry because I waisted over 30 minutes behind one car away from being serve and had to rush to work with no breakfast nor coffee. The fact that this keeps happening over and over is just out of hand. I tried many times to not loose my cool but this was the end for me. I won’t never be coming back. Please do better and respect peoples time that are waiting to order and cut down your life story chats at the window. Ive seen it happen many times when I have been ordering at the window and the other side of the window will have someone else chatting forever as the other cars sit there and wait. Is so disrespectful of peoples times. I get coffee takes a bit to be done but over 30 minutes behind one single car...

I’m going to be completely honest here. Anything with Batdorf and Bronson coffee should be good and they have it.. Really cute coffee stand with a nice menu. Breakfast, snacks and coffee. 2 out of the 3 gals that were met seem to be sweet. However not all employees are of quality personnel. Gal with black hair, red lipstick however is not . Your business is only good as your employees and the faces of your company. As a business manager for a local company this rings exceptionally true . She is truly Inconsiderate has Improper communication skills and getting a coffee here felt like high school all over again. And I am decades past that moment. I was given ridicule for not properly asking for a drink, and was given zero moments to correct myself before she walked off and made a huge scene with the other two gals. Finally after multiple awful looks at me and the other two looking back after what she said, she decided to walk back over and show up to listen to my order. Unfortunately people that go to Starbucks and don’t know the hipster language for a coffee apparently seems to be too much for this young staff. After a two dollar tip from a $4.75 drink. Even in the worst of moments I was told here is your shiny new quarter, with her double take at it and a funny look.I grabbed it and a punch card. I noticed it wasn’t a quarter at all. This has always been my favorite coffee place but I haven’t been there in about a year until today. My husband and I both got coffee well, ordered coffee, and it tasted like hot milk with barely any flavor and definitely no coffee. It was disappointing to say the least since it used to be my go to coffee place and we waited in a long line. I’m sure I will be back again but hoping the girls that made the coffee read this so they know they might not be making it right (or they just got busy).
