The food was so good and it was soul food that it was the one of the best tasting foods that me and my mother have ever ate. We will definitely be back every time we go to her doctors that is an hour and a half away from here and make sure we eat there every time. The staff there was so amazing, so welcoming as soon as you walked in the door, that they made you feel right at home. The owner, there was such a precious woman and as soon as you walked in the door, she was saying hello and greeting you with a smile. The cook, I believe maybe that was him that he saw that my mother was having to use a walker and was barely able to get around that day and I went to the buffet that had 1 million items on it you could choose from homemade from scratch and I ordered her food and got her plate and he took to her table and got her drink and silverware and everything and had it set up for her so she could enjoy her meal without having to do anything. They were absolutely an amazing family. It was an amazing adventure. It was an amazing atmosphere loving, and friendly. I don’t know what else to say except it was awesome. If I could give it 1 million...
Read moreMy fiance, her kids, and I are doing some traveling from Oklahoma to Georgia and we are stopping at places that aren't chain restaurants. We came across Aunt B's Soul Food to see what it's like.

The women there that were helping us were fantastic. Obviously we had never been there before and they were patient with us and explained everything. I really enjoyed the baked chicken but I wish I would've gotten the fried catfish filets like my future stepdaughter did. When she cut into them the fork went straight through. We also got a cheeseburger and fried pork chops. For the sides we got mashed potatoes, green beans, and baked beans as well as their cornbread. All of it was amazing. I don't know if we will make it back through that way, back if we do we are...

Unfortunately it was only a hour until they closed so most everything was sold out including the banana pudding. My husband and I both ordered the smothered pork chops. There was only one left so I waited for them to fry me one and bring it to me. It was okay, just not tender like a slow cooked smothered pork chop should be. Most everything we got was cold. The staff was so nice and friendly though and very helpful. We just showed up too late I think. I would go back again earlier in the day if we...
