If the drinks weren't compartively priced to any other local business, along with the food being meh, decent (although overpriced for what you receive), this business would receive 0 (zero) stars.
This establishment should reconsider its staffing, possibly from the managerial level and above. They, as an entity, treat their customers terribly, (especially after hours). If you happen to misplace something, whether it be a cell phone, car keys, or a debit card,, etc., do NOT expect the staff to be concerned in the slightest, even if it means your wellbeing (i.e. shelter from the elements, night, etc. due to lack of uber or Lyft drivers late in the evening). The "bouncers" are undeniably arrogant and unreasonable. I understand they have "a job to do;" however, showing some compassion to a patron in need, such as a ride to somewhere safe, isnt asking for too much, especially if the person offers to pay for their trouble.
This place has lost my business indefinitely, and I will plan on relaying my message to all of the people of NEMS that I can reach. It's a disgrace to call yourself a business in Tupelo and pass the "buck" when you dont feel like helping out. Shame on...

Service was spotty and confused even though there seemed to be plenty of staff. Staff was friendly and helpful when approached, but they definitely had to be approached to attend to our needs. Food took a bit long to come out (35 minutes) and was luke-warm. The food definitely seems like it would be great when hot, but that wasn't our experience. The onion rings are the hand-battered flour type, which is a big plus for me. Just wish they had been hot. It was odd when paying cash, they would only give me change to the even dollar. They said they "round up" your bill to the next dollar. Only a few cents but why do that? They also do a Sunday lunch "buffet" type deal with a meat and three which is pretty good. After all the great reviews on this place about dinner, we had to try it. I would say give it a try. I will try again and hope the food will be hot. It seemed like it would be amazing when fresh from...
Read moreIn 1989 a film by the name of Road House came out. It had Patrick Swayze in the role of Dalton. He went to work at the Double Duece, a bar owned by Frank Tilghman. The bar is rowdy at first but Dalton quickly whips it into shape. Steeles Dive is this bar post Dalton's arrival. The Dalton role is assumed by Brett and the role of Frank is seamlessly assumed by Jason, the owner of Steele's Dive. It occasionally gets a little rowdy but Dalt...I mean Brett keeps it under control. The entertainment is always top notch for this area. The drinks are great and Dana at the bar will always take care of you. I'm still searching for the Sam Elliott character at Steele's Dive, which I should be able to find, because I'll certainly be back. This is a country bar with great service and friendly staff. All types are welcome and the crowd is typically diverse. Just remember, if you get rowdy, you might catch a...
