I bought a cup of joe, walked outside, and realized it was luke warm, almost cold. Walked back inside and asked how long ago it was brewed. The girl offered to warm it up.
She's nice and friendly, and I appreciate her demeanor. So my complaint here is about managerial policy, not the employee.
A coffee shop, especially one called "Cup of Joe", should sell fresh, hot cups of joe. And if for some reason they don't have any that was brewed in the last 30 minutes, then they should brew more β not offer to "heat it up".
Also they have an obnoxious popcorn machine that beeps extremely loudly, and they just let it beep because it's broken instead of unplugging it. Who buys popcorn from a coffee shop anyway? The beeping destroys whatever ambiance a grocery store coffee shop could possibly have, sending every customer away...
