We came in for fry bread tacos thank that are no longer on the menu. The menu was on the short side. We went for the Caesar salad with chicken, a breakfast biscuit, and pork belly tacos. The Caesar salad was great, and we really appreciate it that it was more of a chopped salad, with smaller pieces of lettuce that was easier to eat with a fork. The pork belly tacos were excellent. The tortillas were lightly fried, the sauce was sweet and sticky, and the pork belly was cooked correctly. The biscuit sandwich was also good. It came with jam, which was a bonus, but there was not enough of it. The eggs tasted almost steamed, they were so fluffy. The potatoes on the side, however, were awful. They taste like they have been cooked the day before refrigerated and then dropped in the deep fry. They were overly soft, and greasy, but not crispy. The service was fantastic, and the bartender/waitress was friendly focused. The bathroom was absolutely spotless. This could be because we came very early in the day. If you use the bathroom, make sure to look up because there’s a cool branch and light art display on the ceiling. I return to this restaurant with friends and family.

I decided to take a mini road trip and happened across this location and decided to give them a try, I ordered the steeple smoked beef rib(brisket on a stick) which is brisket still on the bone) and a order of green bean fries. All I can say is WOW, the food is amazing, the seasoning on the fried green beans is the perfect complement to the vegetables flavor, the pickle has a nice heat to complement its flavor, I asked where they got their pickles and they make them here. The brisket was tender and seasoned perfectly (there was one flavor that was familiar, but I couldn’t place it.. I will have to ask). They have a BBQ jackfruit as well, I tried a sample, it was on par with everything else I had. They have roughly 35 drinks on tap and I did the Bull Run cherry powerhouse cider that paired well with the meal. If you are ever in the area, this is a must try. I know I will be back.

We knew that Chad and Melissa had set up a restaurant down in Turner, and we finally were able to get down there to sample the fare. The wheelchair elevator was a bit cranky, but we finally figured out the right combination of door and switch adjustments. The staff was friendly and got our order taken fairly quickly. While we waited, we took in the refurbished church interior and took some sports on the TVs that lined the areas around the bar. The food was hot and wonderful, better than most bars that we’ve went to! A big plus is the wonderful bathroom, which was more than capable of accommodating power wheelchairs.

Angel's Share is a place I so want to see succeed. Tonight, it appeared that your employees felt differently. I attended the We Make Art event this evening, which was fantastic, and what a perfect venue! I was both hungry and thirsty and planning to eat while I painted. Not once during the evening did your staff of at least 3 people go around to ANY of the event guests to take orders or refill any drinks they must have at the very beginning of the evening purchased at the bar. In the 2 hours I was there maybe 4 or 5 tables apart from the event were there. I'm fairly confident that's not enough to cover the wages tonight cost you. Like I said, I'd love to see you succeed. Events like tonight are meant to bring in business! When you look at the take for tonight and see the stupidly low numbers you'll know why. We were all utterly ignored. I'd attend an art event at Angel's Share again but next time I'll only be there for the venue and event and I'll eat prior. Hopefully...

This was our 3rd visit to Angels Share. Unfortunately, it was the 1st time we took our neighbors, after talking it up to them, and the service and food were not up to par. We arrived at 4:15 on a Wed., and the 4 of us were the only people there. We only saw one employee. She was apparently responsible for doing it all, and as other patrons came in, the wait for cocktails, multiple requests for water, looong wait for food, requests for extra plates for shared meals drug on. When the food finally came it was disappointing. The burger was overdone and dry, and the loaded brussels were not trimmed well and had a large amount of tough stem on each one. We finally went to counter to ask for our bills. There was a mix up on them, with parts of their order on ours, and vice versa. Because of the slow service, we were actually there for over 90 minutes for simple bar food. I hate to complain, because we really have been thinking this is our new go-to place. Hoping it was just...
