Hot Wok Express — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

I have loved hot wok from the time I was introduce to them by my MoM and Daughter! Last night (October 24, 2018) was mine and my husbands first bad experience! I'm not sure what the little guys name is or was that worked the line last night but, he was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I ordered fried rice, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup, and chow mein noodles, he said noodles would be done in 20 minutes and I said ok I still want them, went to cash out and I said don't forget to add the noodles and he so rudely, and harshly replied "you should have told me in the beginning now I have to go all the way back and in the kitchen!" First I did say I wanted them in the BEGINNING second you rude cruel man had no right talking to me and my husband that way. We never one time said anything harsh or out of the way toward you! We left and drove several more miles out of the way for Chinese just so we wouldn't have to hear his cruel remarks. We were in there between 7:00-7:30 last night! I would rather go that extra few miles out is my way in the future than to hear this vile man again! I'm gonna make sure I tell everyone I know about this! No one should have to indure such cruelty! The food was reasonably good. But I would not consider it exceptional Chinese food. I wouldn't mind going back again and trying different food items that they have there. I did get the feeling the other people who have given a negative review about the owner being snippy or mal mannered but I took it in stride. However someone's bad day doesn't have to be taken seriously. If this bothers you at all I would avoid this place.
