Like most Little Caesars, their pizza is so-so. It’s not to die for, but it’s okay and the prices are adequate. The problems with this location (Vassar) are many! And so to us, it makes it debatable on whether we want to make the effort to go, or go somewhere else.
One of the biggest problems we have with this location, and you will see in other reviews, is that they close all Willy-nilly - and you never know when that is. You can’t depend on the store hours, either on the site, or the door. They’re supposed to close at 10, but they could close at 9, or 7, or whenever the heck they feel like it. So if you have a hankering for pizza, call ahead. Or go way early!
In the mood for a Hot-n-Ready at Hot-n-Ready price? Not at this location! They have them, but they will cost you $6.50. If you want a $5 pizza, go up the road to Speedway. It taste about the same anyway. And you may get it faster. Plus, they’ll be open!
They do have $8 pizzas, so if you are really in the mood for pizza - and you have to get it from Little Caesars- then it’s actually a better deal to order one or two of these pizzas then a Hot-n-Ready. (Which is probably their goal.)
They have online ordering, which I like. It’s faster and more convenient than having to deal with a lot of the people who work at Vassar’s store. Not all, but many of them just don’t want to be there and it shows. They are there simply for a paycheck and they do not want to deal with you. So, if at all possible, take advantage of the app or online ordering, you’ll be glad you did!
Or- go somewhere else. There are other places in Vassar to eat - and for a lot more options- Birch Run isn’t that far...
Read moreI'm not happy with my visit. On January 29, 2019, the weather was bad so it appeared that a lot of people were trying to get pizza instead of cooking, so yeah, they were busy. Well, I stopped in, ordered 2 pretzel pizzas, a double cheese, a three-meat-treat, and a crazy bread. After waiting around for about a half-hour or so, I got my items and left. I get home, open my boxes, and, lo and behold, one of the pretzel pizzas is burnt to a crisp. I'm talking black crust. I call them, tell them about it, am offered a replacement, opt for a raincheck. Okay..... Look closer at the black pizza and see that it is a burnt hot-n-ready, pizza sauce and all, with salt around the crust. Really, people? You tried to pass this off as edible food? The other pretzel pizza is correct with cheese sauce as it should be. The cheese and three-meat pizzas look flash-fried, like the temp on the oven was increased and the speed of the machine increased to pump out more pizzas. I would have gladly waited longer for pizza that wasn't browned on the outside and kinda raw on the inside. I'm not a happy customer right now. I have been going here since last year, about once a week. If I decide to try this place again, I will be inspecting my food before I leave. Frequently the cheese bread and pizzas are overcooked but still edible. The quality of the food is extremely...
Read moreI’ve given this Location to 2 chances and I just don’t understand how a pizza can come out of the oven with a rockhard crust? Little to no sauce? Cheese half off the pizza? They charge you an extra dollar to go from pepperoni to sausage, their pizza has no volume in the crust, it’s almost like a thin crust if I want thin crust that’s what I would buy. Their breadsticks are flat and how is the same order of breadsticks, partially soft, partially burnt and hard? I don’t even like gas station pizza but it’s a step above this place. The employees are slow, polite, but slow.It almost seems like the only reason why this place stays in businesses because there’s not much around. From now on, I’m driving the extra 20 minutes for better...
