This place is awesome. Beautiful downtown area. No parking meters are a plus! The portions are Hulk-sized! I ordered the extreme veggie omelet which came with hash browns, which weren't the kind of shredded, greasy, hash browns I pictured. They were nice little potatoes, lightly fried I suppose, but not too greasy. They were really good. The side of greens was a nice little salad of sorts with a delicious honey mustard style sauce. It was great as well. The omelette, was so good. Just like I like to make them at home, but bigger. Chock-full of some of my favorite veggies- squash and zucchini and caramelized onions and some roasted red peppers. Nice and cheesy. I could not finish the whole meal. You definitely get your money's worth! I ordered Sub Zero cakes to go for breakfast the next day. No ice shower here, just delicious blueberries and lemon. (The picture I am attaching is in the to go box a little bit later, I am sure the presentation at the restaurant would look way better than this picture!) The staff was amazing as well. Everyone that I saw there was young, and it really made me happy to see a crew of young guy and girls, probably all in their early twenties taking care of business. Not too long ago, I was that age. My son is that age. You don't get a lot of respect from older people at that age, you have to earn it, and these guys and girls are doing a great job of that! Thank you so much for taking care of me! * I didn't get a picture of the front entrance because there was a HUGE crowd outside for a local event.

It's worth the wait .... Dropped in on these super (duper) hero chefs and was pleasantly surprised. If you're in that breakfast mood they got that all day. If you're trying to get your lunch in you will do just as well. We ordered the hulk and juggernaut which are naturally good sized waffle chicken sandwiches with a difference in meat that goes on top of the chicken. Powdered sugar on the plate served with the spicy maple sauce prepped you for a flavorful smack down (in a good way of course). Eating on the other hand had two approaches, you can fork and knife it or just pick that beauty up by hand. The savory flavors pop the whole sandwich through. Had to try the sticky ribs and with 4 on the plate it was the perfect amount to compliment the fresh flavorful salads we had which were the the Flash and Superman. Being from Cali these salads beat most anything put together out west and were the perfect balance to the southern flavors and heartiness of our main orders. Whole and half options on the salads give you room to work. They also saved the day when it came to getting those daily veggies in. Last up was a veggie omelet that made you feel great for choosing healthy along with tasting an omelet that was cooked to perfection. Especially that bottom part! Do ask about their lemonades and teas as the flavor schemes are worth exploring and tasted more authentic than artificial. We were visiting familia as we crossed the country and this restaurant was most def a highlight of the quad cities in this corner of Alabama!

We’ve been wanting to try this location for a while and finally had the chance while we were in the area. We went in the afternoon, so they weren’t busy at all. Our appetizer was the southern egg rolls. My husband destroyed that before I could get a photo 😐. Really yummy—a tiny bit of spice. The peach mimosa was yum, but I would have liked more peach flavor. But the Loki cocktail (basically a sweet strawberry marg)… yes! Just yes! I got the steak and eggs with a pancake on the side. I didn’t care for the texture of the pancake, but the flavor was nice. Love the cream cheese whip! The steak was cooked to perfection, and though I’m not big on many starches these days, I could have eaten a whole plate of the potatoes! Definitely did not regret my choice. My husband ordered the Roll Tide burger. I didn’t try it, but it looked great and he cleaned his plate. He was a big fan of the fries also. My son had the Batman quesadilla with no pico, and he also cleaned his plate. Overall, a really great experience. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

I really have a hard time believing that all of these rave reviews are real. I give honest reviews and expect others to do the same. Even though friends had mixed reviews, we decided to "support Tuscumbia businesses" anyway. We went for lunch at about 1:35 pm, ordered a half salad and burger, a received the food at 2:25pm (I know this because we were giving them 5 more minutes before we left). All of this with the manager sitting a table away in the corner doing paperwork, completely oblivious to the situation, and the bartender exhibited the same behavior. A man came in and sat at the bar (where we were seated)at about 2 pm, ordered, received, ate, paid for his lunch, and left long before we received our food! Now for the food. Unfortunately, it wasn't any better than the service. The salad was soggy and just tasted old. It was suppose to come with dressing on the side, but didn't. We asked for two sides of dressing and were charged for one of them without being asked. The burger was the crabmeat sauce topped burger. It was extremely greasy, lukewarm and pretty much just fell apart on the plate. Do 2 tablespoons of crab sauce make it a $12 burger? No. The home fries were cold and dumped haphazardly on the plate. So disappointed! Tuscumbia is a hard town to crack. Many locals have a tendency to not support local businesses. I hope things improve, or your success will be short-lived. One last thought, is anyone bothered by the utensils being placed in a jar on the table? This is a health hazard and I can't believe the health department didn't catch it. Imagine someone with a cold picking one fork, then putting it back...then the next person who takes a fork...you get the idea. Also the utensils are touching the inside of the jar...is it a clean jar? Who knows? Rolling utensils into napkins isn't just for a nice presentation, it's for sanitary...

We were really looking forward to having breakfast here; as a couple locals recommended them as a great spot for breakfast.

When we first walked in, we were greeted with a damp, musty smell. I’m sure the building is old, but our first impression was not a good one. The hostess was not very friendly at all and we were sat in a booth near the kitchen.

After telling the server we had never been there before, she made a few recommendations. My girls wanted pancakes; so we ordered the supercake off the kids’ menu.

My husband ordered one of the omelets the server recommended and I ordered the French toast with bacon.

The food took awhile, and when it came it was almost like they spent too much time on the presentation of the plate rather than the quality of the food. The supercake (which we were wrong for assuming was going to be some sort of superhero pancake) was really small and REALLY dense. It was smaller than a teacup saucer. It was thick and hard and not very good at all. My girls are good eaters, but even they complained that their pancake was not “yummy.” My husband’s hash browns were not actually hash browns; they were more like breakfast potatoes… small cube-like and fried. His omelette had burnt sausage in it and it was not very flavorful at all. He said his toast wasn’t even very good.

My French toast tasted like it was loaded with butter- not light and fluffy as you would expect. My bacon was cold.

We did not address our concerns with our server- she asked how things were before we had a chance to try anything. The only time she came back was to drop off our check. We didn’t think complaining about the food would do much good at this point- we tried our best to choke some of it down. Now we’re off to try and find some...

I hesitated to give a poor review as I was super excited about this new endeavor in Tuscumbia. I took 2 friends to dinner last Saturday evening and was terribly disappointed. Our server was very sweet but: We ordered 3 appetizers to try a variety . The Waffle Sandwich ($12)was decent The Catfish bites ($9) were just Ok with a a good hot honey sauce. The issue was that half of the fish bites were undercooked. Not a fun thing when eating catfish. We are fried catfish connoisseurs in our area. The Southern Egg Rolls ($10)with fried chicken, Mac n cheese and greens were boring and tasted like an over fried sweet dough. There was even powdered sugar. I could not get even a hint of the smoked greens flavor The appetizers came AFTER our entrees. No explanation.... We had no utensils on the table until 5 minutes after our entrees came I paid $20 for The Riddler, meatloaf cupcakes. This is 4 little meatloafs in cupcake papers topped with mashed potato, a maple drizzle and candied bacon. Once I got a fork, I was hoping for something unique and delicious. The meatloaf was ok. The potatoes were ok. The Maple glaze was a failure in my opinion. It was colored bright red and covered everything on my plate. It may have red hots in it?? I’m not sure but it was terrible and did nothing to enhance the dish and made the bacon pieces soggy . By the way, that is all you get for $20. No sides unless you count the potatoes with red maple syrup.

The food was mediocre that we ordered. The service was rough, although the servers were nice. I was hoping for more and hate that our dinner was so poorly executed. I’ve heard others say they loved it. Not my...
