We found this place when leaving the Tuskegee Airmen Museum and it was maybe 8 minutes away. It was on a Thursday afternoon and one of the reviews mentioned oxtail Thursday, we both love oxtail and it had lots of great reviews, so we headed on over. It appeared to be a small family owned business and after walking in there was a large Family sign over the door to the kitchen so that was a good indication. Then the super nice lady at the cash register that took our order had a shirt on that said "earned not given" , another good sign, and she helped us with our order and all the available sides. I'm sure they have all kinds of great bbq but we went straight for the oxtail. She said it would be about 10 mins and when she handed me the containers of food, she had bagged them up for us not knowing we were eating in, I carried the bag to our table and told my wife I would save the bag because the containers were so heavy I expected to be carrying leftovers home. That didn't happen! The food was so good we ate every last bit of it and it was a lot. We both had the oxtail, Cajun cabbage and Mac n cheese. Every person working there and other customers coming in and out were super nice and friendly and we would go back any time we are in the area. I didn't get everybody's names, but we did meet Stan aka Stosh!, and he was a great guy and everybody thanked us for coming in. You won't find a nicer group of people or better food anywhere around, it just can't happen. We travel the country full time in our rv and are always looking for local businesses like this to support. Can't say enough good things about this place and especially the people that work there! Just go and enjoy! Our pics didn't come out good due to the bright sunshine but it's a nice...
Read moreI had the pleasure of eating at this place last night. The ribs were a 10/10. The bite was perfect, the sauce was perfect, and the taste was out of this world. The baked beans were on point, and the cold slaw was excellent. The wait time for my order was minimal. I don’t go to BBQ spots for the ambiance, I actually like little cozy spots that just have great food and this spot was perfect. I met the owner and his wife and they were both very nice. The owner asked me how I liked the ribs, and my response was “they are delicious sir”. His response was “Oh yeah we know how to do ribs”. Well he did not lie. I am from out of Town, but will be back for Tuskegee’s Homecoming. And as I promised the owner, I will stop by again and patronize their business.
I had the please of eating at this place a 2nd time on November 1, 2025 (Tuskegee Univ Homecoming). The food was amazing as usual. I had the Brisket, baked beans, and cole slaw. The brisket was juicy, tender and had the perfect smoke ring. The baked beans were cooked to perfection and the coleslaw was delicious. The owners were very personable as usual. I had an opportunity meet the owner's entire family and we took pictures together. I live in ATL, but I'll be back...
Read moreFrom Atlanta, while visiting the newly renovated George Washington Carver Historic Museum in Tuskegee Alabama. We came across B & B BBQ. Chef’s kiss baby!!!
Melt-in-your-mouth magic. The ribs? Sticky, smoky, fall-off-the-bone perfection. Even the sides slap — that mac & cheese deserves its own award.
The pit-master got it all right! They even had the social media newest frenzy honeybun cake! Customer service outstanding. From the pit to the table!
My 75 year old mother who had to see the place where George Washington Carver spent 54 years teaching and walking the grounds with Booker T Washington said B&B BBQ was the icing on the cake to a wonderful trip!
Vibe is chill, service is top-tier, and you can taste the passion in every bite. If you’re anywhere near this place — GO.
We ordered more plates to go for our family at home in Atlanta , that 2 hour drive back was...
