I loved Palm Kebap and I was elated to hear the owners were bringing their delicious food to the Cactus again. I raced over and got a chicken shawarma wrap that was huge and a generous side of garlic dip. My partner got a mixed grilled veggies plate and everything was perfectly spiced and delicious. This will be my go-to in 29 from now on.

5/15/2021 Beyond happy with the visit. Found out they were open and had to come up. Food is AMAZING and the owner/guy Andy is all about customer service. They open earlier than anyone else in town and, cant stress this enough, the food is better than anywhere else! Sorry, we are before the photos were taken

First time visiting. Went on a Friday night around 9pm and left around midnight. I don’t remember my much but I remember that all the drinks my crew got me were delicious! And the music was banging! I’ll definitely return and I highly recommend.

The place was your typical smaller town bar feel with restaurant seating in the back and a table up front in the bar area. The music they played was great and they have two large TV's going. The staff were really nice and the service was pretty quick and they always checked up on us, even though it was one person serving and making drinks for everyone there. GREAT selection for cocktails and beer. The food was also good, if your from a big city the food might not compare but for the surrounding area it was really good. They serve burgers, and Mediterranean food etc. recommend the brisket and the hummus. If you want something other than Mexican I would recommend this...

We were looking for a good dinner on a Sunday night and didn’t have a lot of options. We decided to take a chance on Cactus based on reviews, even though it didn’t look like much from outside. The food was delicious and it was family friendly, with a kids menu. It’s locally owned and the staff was super friendly. They also have a full bar with lots of cocktail options and a good amount of beers on draft. I never leave reviews but this is the type of place that you want to see succeed, so I want to give them a shout! If we had more time in the are, we would definitely...

Such a gem in the Joshua Tree area! We spied it after getting gas and stopped in for a quick beer and to watch March Madness basketball. They stock a freezer full of pint glasses, so the Blood Orange Citrus by Firestone Walker was ice cold. We grabbed a Chicken Cobb salad to-go, and it probably weighed 3 pounds…..easily fed two of us. It had warm, deliciously seasoned chicken, two eggs, TONS of bacon, cucumbers, and tomatoes. It was fantastic, and the bartender was extremely friendly. We also met the owner who was welcoming and easy to talk to. I highly recommend that...
