The best authentic Mexican food in Twin! I didn’t know I’ve never had authentic Mexican food until I’ve had their food: Pipian - never even heard of it until I saw it on their menu. The owners even gave my family and me a sample of it, along with samples of their chicken mole and pork in salsa verde. Just delicious! Beside the samples & taking time to explain their dishes, the owners also have remembered our names. You can tell they take pride in what they do - it’s in the taste and service! My daughter loves their chorizo sausages that they also make in house. Along with their tortillas and sauces that you can also purchase (market items). Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m a bit of a foodie and this food truck takes the cake! I grew up in California and lived several years in SoCal, I’ve even spent a little time in Mexico, all that to say I’ve had plenty of opportunity to have amazing Mexican food and amazing Authentic Mexican food. And El Matador is by far the best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had made by some pretty amazing people, with great customer service. They have Chorizo that isn’t so greasy that it makes us sensitive stomach folks incapable of eating and to top it off best flavor I’ve had. All their meats have amazing flavor. This was my first time. So I requested 3 Gourmet tacos that were his favorite. The freshly handmade tortillas were amazing! The filling was excellent, with a ton of flavor! I got both hot and mild salsa.. The hot had just the right amount of heat, enough to let you know its there, but not so much you can't taste anything. The mild was like it suggests, but had exceptional flavor. The absolute best tacos I've had in a while, and that's saying a lot. Additionally, I told him I'm Celiac, so he made sure to make my food keeping it Gluten-free. Thank you. I'll be back every time...
