My 2 stars go solely to the employee that tries tirelessly to make my order right. I first ordered my pizza at 5:30pm on December 12th 2018. I ordered the Charcetarie pizza with a cheese platter. They said 15min for my order to be done. Around 10min later I went to the counter to wait. Once 15min had been fulfilled I asked if my pizza was finished. They said "no, our over has not been working correctly so we had to discard your pizza and start fresh". This was at 5:50. They gave me my overly priced and very bare cheese platter which came with 4 small slices of aged swiss, 3 small triangles of gouda and 2 very tiny cubes of provolone. No breed, nor olives or even crackers as is customary amongst Napelotian pizzerias of European Latin countries. So at 6:10 I went to retrieve my second made pizza only to be told my management that they gave my pizza to someone else as they got the orders mixed up. One of the young employees said he was very sorry and would give me a "discount" to accommodate my long wait. I went and sat down outside. At around 6:20 an employee brought me my pizza and gave me a "free pizza card" for the long delay and lack of service. I was very pleased and satisfied. Until I took a bite of my Luke warm pizza and mostly raw dough of a pizza. By this time I was livid and highly disappointed. I decided that would return my now 3rd made pizza and just receive a refund and eat at a more worthy establishment. As I waited in line for about 10min I spoke to several "chiefs" of employees that were working and told them of my disappointment and long hungry wait for what I thought was quality. They agreed ro refund me my money and 1 gentlemen who I believe was most qualified to be a manager said he would even make me a pizza free of charge and that he was very sorry. At around 6:35 I finally had a 4th pizza made for me and it was actually cooked. Unfortunately the quality was sub par at best. It lacked tomato sauce and flavor. For the price and size of their pizza I will go elsewhere. I do hope that in the future Sola finds a better system of orders and figures out how a Napoleon style pizzeria makes a pizza.

Read moreI'm new to Tyler & saw a recommendation in a local FB group. There were comments in regards to how good the pizza is, as well as the bread. We headed over for lunch, only to be old that pizza is only served after 5. No biggie, as the young lady was busy making a sandwich, and stopped to answer us. I asked her if I could take a picture of their hours, since they were so limited. The hubby said that we should at least buy some bread, and give it a try. At that point, the young lady had gone back to making sandwiches, so I asked from the counter, about purchasing bread. A dfferent woman came near the counter and told me bread was only available on Saturdays, at which point, I asked her if I had to order in advance? She was cordial, but not friendly by any means. I seemed to have hit a nerve when I asked her if they made low carb bread. She said I was mistaking them for a "conglomerate out of Houston, ", and then she walked away from me, as I was mid sentence. Had she given me the opportunity, I would have explained to her that we are looking for local businesses to support, which is why we combed through local groups, and went to their establishment! We eat pizza once a week, but will not be going back to this place. That lady was so incredibly rude, and salty. I was really saddened to have had such a poor experience, when most of the Google reviews talk about how friendly this place is! She actually made me feel uncomfortable, and like our ignorance about their hours and food availability were a nuisance! Such a shame! Thankfully, our party of 7 went to Bruno's for dinner. That was another recommendation. We loved their pizza, and their service was top notch! Time to head over and rate...
Read moreThe best pizza you will find in Tyler, TX! Sola Bread Co checks all the boxes for me - delicious food, great customer service, and a welcoming environment. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone visiting Tyler, and we plan to make this a frequent stop whenever we're in East Texas!
Food: I was blown away at how delicious the food was. We ordered the Soft Pretzel & Beer Cheese to snack on while we waited for our pizza. The saltiness, the consistency of the pretzel, the creaminess of the beer cheese - fantastic choice for an appetizer! The pizza we decided to go with was the Norsetter as a recommendation from the cashier - a pizza with garlic crema sauce, fresh mozzarella, shaved lemons, artichoke, speck, and finished with arugula dressed in lemon juice. Let me tell you - this pizza was FANTASTIC! We wouldn't get enough, and we finished the pizza between the two of us. The bread was crispy and chewy. The cheese and breakfast sausage was rich. Just so good! 10/10
Location: Located in an area with a few other stores, Sola Bread Co was quite easy to find. There is a lot of parking available. There is no issue with available seating - in the main building there is plenty seating inside; there is plenty of picnic tables outside with an area for children to run around and play; and there's a building dedicated for seating with a stage for live music / entertainment that's right across the main building.
Overall, great experience! We came for our 6 year anniversary, and we plan to come back whenever we're...
