Looks very nice after the remodel, but they need more staff, a different, more experienced cook and maybe a different manager. We were there with a large group on a late Friday afternoon, and just ordering drinks was difficult because they had run out of all kinds of liquor and beer. On a Friday. Before the weekend rush had started. Ok, rough start. Like other commenters have said, service was extremely slow. We saw three people "working," but only one was actually working, if you get my drift. Our waitress was all over the place and very nice, but there's only so much one person can do and we had to wait a long time to order our food. When the food came it was...alright. The only really excellent thing was the ruben sandwich, wouldn't change a single thing. The wings were very crispy and had great texture, but they didn't actually toss them in the sauce. They just squirted different sauces haphazardly over the plain wings. Such a simple but crucial extra step for good wings. Also, the fries were limp, oily, and had obviously only been fried once. You gotta double fry for good fries, man. We took this as proof that whoever was cooking just didn't have a lot of experience. The only thing we had that I would completely avoid in the future was the Cowboy steak sandwich. Completely bland and devoid of flavor, even after salting at the table. So, if you're just going for very basic drinks, don't mind tossing your own wings around, and you're not in a hurry, go for it! If not, I'd let this place get a little more experience before expecting anything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLast Saturday night I would have given 5 stars. Got the Cotton Candy Margarita and it was amazing as were my wings. Decided to go back again and get the sameā¦. Ordered from the same menu, cotton candy margarita was in the menu with the listed ingredients, same as the week before. Drink came out after about 20 minutes and it was in a different glass and looked nothing like the 2 I purchased the previous week. Waitress informed me that they change the recipes and experiment with the drinks which is why it looked different. It tasted like pure syrup. Not sure what was in it. It was undrinkable, unfortunately. Waitress did not check on us for an extremely long time. When she did I asked for a water and stated that the drink was not good and that I was sorry but I could not drink it. We got our wings from someone else, never got my water. She said she would check with manager to take the drink off but never did. We wouldāve ordered more food and a few more drinks but service was way too slow and the wings were cold when we got them like they sat for a long period before coming out.
The place is so nice inside and out, just a shame it is not consistent and the service is poor. I doubt we will try again. Out of the 5 times we have gone recently only 1 good service and maybe that is because we sat at a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter, 2 granddaughters and I went to the Bull Pen for āBreakfast with Santaā - it was way beyond expectations! It wasnāt just a full course delicious breakfast of eggs, pancakes with strawberry sauce, bacon and a very yummy selection of scones, etc., etc. It was much more then having breakfast and meeting Santa. There was a tremendous amount of work involved setting up āstationsā of adorable cute crafts - from decorating reindeer cupcakes, making bags of reindeer food, Christmas ornaments, writing letters to Santa and other āstationsā of activities for all the kids. AND..... there were A LOT of kids!!! They had the cutest little elves (about 8 or 9 years old) going around to each table talking to all the kids, finding out what they wanted for Christmas - they could of won Oscars for their outstanding interactions - VERY CUTE!!!! Ohhhhh.... and of course pictures with Santa! It was a wonderful experience for kids and adults. I donāt want to give them a five star - I would like to give them a 10. Great job!!!! A very nice community get together...
