Just ordered take away, great tasting food. We brought home a burrito and 4 tacos we shared the burrito and are unable to start on the tacos "huge burrito", this is our 1st time at Donitas restaurant. The price is very fair the amount in servings are generous, was a busy time when we arrived 10 minutes wait and piping hot food and friendly service. We eat out twice a week mostly to the Hermiston area, now Donitas will be one of our weekly stops for sure and in walking distance. A gem for sure. UPDATE- been back two more times since 1st visit food still good' ordered exactly same items as usual i was charged more each time? Whats the item prices? Where are the prices? Explained "I've orderd same menu items every time why different prices every time i order"? Where is price list? Theres not one any where? Young lady at registers says she doesn't know prices either??? Hun? You are charging me, are you guessing the price? Different person from 1st visit. Good food but i don't like what seems to be daily changing food prices or cashier pulling prices from air. Three visit same items + 4$ + 7$ something is wrong here. Going back to where i see what I'm being charged for honestly still means a...
Read moreWas fairly excited to stop here considering the reviews and supporting smaller local businesses along our road trip. Unfortunately I didn't get to ever try the food so this review is more about the experience. First there was no menu available, then there was no price listed. Because they are cash only and didn't list prices, we had to place the order in order to find out the total which then forced us to go to an ATM since we didn't have enough cash. She did let us place the order first, but only upon returning from the ATM were we informed they were out of all chicken when everyone one of us ordered chicken dishes. And honestly I have a feeling we were over charged as tourists considering we were charged $11 for a burrito in a hole on the wall Mexican joint in a building that is no better than a shack feels...
Read moreSome of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. This restaurant doesn’t have the usual decor found in most Mexican restaurants but when you walk in the right music is playing and the right smells are wafting from the kitchen. And it’s very clean. This is the real deal! A family run restaurant that clearly makes everything from scratch, and a lot of it judging from the well stocked storeroom. We had the best refried beans and rice along with tacos and amazing salsas. The owner was so friendly and helpful and was surprisingly tech savvy with his digital ordering and payment system. Thank you Donita’s for a wonderful lunch and a reminder of why our country is a richer place because of...
