Acapulco Food Truck — Restaurant in Umatilla

Wow, what a great place for a bite or two.

I think things are changing in Umatilla, we actually have a few extremely good places to eat and this is one of them!

I have to say that these burritos and tacos are the best ever! I always get the Jr's surf and turf burrito and my wife always gets a fish burrito (not on the menu, but I am sure Margerito will make you one if you ask).

The Jr's surf and turf is a massive burrito with shrimp and steak in it and it is loaded!!! They are really big burritos and the flavor is great! I am 99% that everything is homemade from scratch here and it sure tastes like it because everything is very fresh!!!

The fish tacos and also the (not in the menu) fish burrito are amazing! Most street tacos are pretty small, but these are really pretty big and loaded with flavor! I think they must bread the fish themselves because they definitely seem really fresh and I am guessing cooked only when you order... They are so good!!!

They do have other things on the menu by the way...I think they have tortas and quesadillas as well as a few other things.

The truck itself is very clean and you can't miss it down by the tire shop where you turn from highway 730 to river road.

Now here is my favorite part... The staff. The people who run the truck are probably the coolest and nicest people ever! I really and honestly feel like family when I go there. They treat me so good and they are always in a great mood! They are truly down to earth people and I cannot say enough how much I appreciate them and their top of the line service!

What are you waiting for... Go get a burrito or taco!!! You will be back once you've gone there... It is super good food and super good people!!!

Oh, and I am not exactly sure what the hours are, but they are almost always there and open. I have even passed by around 10pm and they are still open and usually busy.

Very nice people and great suggestions. We stopped on our way home, and I tried one each of the pollo, fish, and shrimp. I expected to not like one (because I historically don't like tilapia), but I ended up devouring all three and each was just as tasty as the next. My son got a quesadilla, and as usual, loved it. My partner had two asada tacos, and nothing but smiles from him. My mom and stepdad also had tacos, not sure the type, but they were delightfully tasty. Highly recommend if you are looking for some easy lunch that is just as tasty as it looks. Nice simple selection of drinks, with an attached bottle opener for convenience. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be stopping...

I have had few eating experiences out that this little taco stand served up. Excellent everything. Tacos were the best tacos I can remember having in a very very long time. Right from the start the customer service exceeded my expectations. When i asked them what their favorite taco was that they sold and he said fish tacos and comped one for being first time customers. He was right. That fish taco was the perfect combination of fresh veggies, secret green sauce and perfectly cooked fish. Every single bite was delicious. I truly hope i can make it back this way soon. Might just drive back out for...
