My wife and I went to The Bridge to check it out and try one of their pizzas. We're always on the lookout for a good pizza. We ordered their "Butcher" pizza, basically a meat lovers, all-meat pizza. It was SO good! The crust had that delicious, slightly "over browned" edge that makes wood-fired pizza so delicious and that smoky flavor and it was loaded with toppings. It was so delicious that we decided we HAD to get a second pizza. This time, for some variety, we got the "Pit" pizza, a barbecued chicken pizza. Barbecued chicken pizza is not in my top 10 pizzas, but my wife likes them and the other pizza they have has mushrooms, and she won't eat mushrooms, so barbecued chicken it was... (I'm sure they would've left the mushrooms off for us.) The Pit is now my favorite pizza of all time! It was absolutely perfect! I'm a meat pizza guy who tolerates chicken pizza for my wife, but if we're at The Bridge, now I'm a chicken pizza guy, The sauce was this honey barbecue sauce and there were red onions. They have a spicy barbecue sauce too if you like a little heat, but I just got some of their house hot sauce to dunk my pizza in, and wouldn't you know it, OMG it was the BEST hot sauce I've ever had in my life! It's a vinegary red sauce, like a buffalo sauce, kind of, but not. I'm a spicy food JUNKIE and I'm telling you, that sauce is the SH.... well, the best hot sauce I've ever had... It's no joke on the Scoville scale either. It isn't Carolina Reaper or something, it's just spicy AND delicious; that perfect blend, not just flavor, and not just an attempt to remove your taste buds, just a fabulous, balanced, spicy, delicious sauce. I don't know if I'll ever get around to trying another pizza variety at The Bridge, because I just can't bring myself to NOT get The Pit. Oh yeah, and FAST, those pizzas were there faster than you could get a drink refill in another restaurant. We asked how they got to the table so quickly and they told us that the pizzas are cooking at such a high temperature that they only take 2-minutes to cook! So if you're looking for an amazing and quick to-go option, these pizzas are perfect for that as well. Don't take my word for it, for the The Bridge and get a pizza (I recommend The Pit, but you fo you), I don't think...
Read moreThe bagel sandwich was good. We love coffee bar drinks but this morning we wanted just 2 cups of coffee. One iced. We were told they only have Americano, so we said it was fine. I asked for cream and sugar with mine but they filled up the cup to the brim so there was no room for either (16oz). I asked if they could pour some out into a different cup so I could add cream and sugar. They did and handed me the jug of half and half. When I asked to put creamer on both of my cups the young lady said: “well, then you’re getting 2 drinks!” … How’s that? 16 oz is 16 oz whether is all in 1 cup or 2 🤦🏻♀️ … I then asked for sugar. I do like 3 teaspoons of sugar for 10 oz. Which I’ve figured already is 9 packs of sugar. She gave me 4 packs and I told her I needed close to 20. She gave me 10 and told me that’s all they had 🤔 So, a $25 breakfast doesn’t buy me enough sugar for my coffee. They don’t have any prices posted at all or a menu for their beverages so there’s no way to know what choices are available or what the prices are. Maybe they’ll get it together and eventually be more efficient and customer service oriented....
