Primo's Italian Cuisine and Catering — Restaurant in Unicoi

I've been going to Primos for a very very long time and have never had such bad service as I've had the past few months,and thats just going in to get take out. So I feel sorry for those of you who go in and sit down for dinner.. For the most part, its always been great, but here lately, there has been a change in management and that change hasn't seemed to help much. I've had dealings with this new manager myself a lot during take out orders and she's very rude and while I'm standing there at times,waiting for my food to come out, the things that she says and the way she says them to her employees, are absolutely uncalled for. She talks down to them right in front of customers like they are beneath her and in turn, it sometimes brings her employees to tears.. To me, thats not how management should be. Managers are no different than anyone else, just their titles and responsibility, they are all equal and employees should be treated that way, not belittled.. So therefore, after all these years, myself,my family and after I speak with a bunch more people in this county, we will no longer go back until this management issue is resolved. We dont need to go in for a nice dinner, and be treated rudely or have to hear rude comments made to others... Thats not a relaxing atmosphere.. On 4 August 2021, during Tennessee's tax holiday on all food products (groceries, prepared foods, restaurants, etc.) my girlfriend and I visited Primo's in Unicoi. Upon receiving our bill for the evening, I noticed tax had incorrectly been added to the ticket. I mentioned this to the cashier, who holds no fault and had no ability to correct the problem, when checking out and was told she had thought the same thing (that tax shouldn't be applied) but had been informed by the owner "[the tax holiday] is optional and we're not participating". Not only is this incorrect, but it is in violation of state law. The taxes collected at this establishment during the tax holiday will not be going to the state, but will only serve to pad the owner's bottom line. All else about the visit aside, this blatant disregard for state law alone is an insult to customers and Primo's in Unicoi deserves no business from the people...

In town visiting for an event, got into town late call this establishment and ask if they delivered after a several minute conversation on the phone with a young adult female to realize that they do deliver to where I was at at my Airbnb. She graciously took my order. I paid for it with card over the phone. Expecting delivery after 35 minute wait for delivery received a phone call saying that the drivers car would not start And they could not make it to deliver the pizza. Ask if I could come and pick it up with some reservation about not knowing the area that I was in and being late I headed out to go pick it up and upon rival still tipped five dollars picked up my order in which they forgot my drink Would not let us dine in so that our meal wouldn’t be any colder than it already was sitting on the counter...
