Mack Vegan is seriously a gem! They’ve found the perfect way to blend Caribbean comfort food with a completely plant-based twist, and it’s honestly amazing. The flavors are bold, authentic, and super satisfying. I tried the chickpea meal and was blown away—so perfectly seasoned, hearty, and full of that home-cooked goodness.
The curry “chicken” meal was another favorite. It had just the right kick—not too spicy, but enough to wake up your taste buds—and the flavor was deep and comforting. And let me tell you, the veggie patties? Absolutely to die for. Crispy, flaky, and indulgent on the outside with a savory filling that had me savoring every bite. I could’ve eaten a whole box of them!
Another huge plus: the portions are massive! I literally made three full meals out of what I ordered, which makes it such a great value. It’s so refreshing to have a spot like this—healthy, vegan, and full of soul. Definitely one of my new favorite...
Read moreI come here often. I recently invited my partner here too to try their food. The food is tasty I personally the jack fruit.
The biggest CON of this restaurant is the PORTION size. We understand it’s a business but at the same time customers need to find the VALUE of what you are selling. It’s a healthier option however the portion and prices do not add up. The salad is $7 without “protein” and an extra $8 for chickpeas, jackfruit, etc. The avocado slices are extremely for the salad to come up to $16 and is not filling what so ever. An avocado is around $0.88. The veggies on the salad were not enough to be full off of. I can say more about other entrees but I will leave it at that. Kind people and good customer service but if you want to keep customers happy and keep their business give them more food please!
Generally, it’s healthy food but you’d be better off spending money on groceries if you want to be able to get your...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I visited this spot and tried the fish (first pic on the left), orange chicken, mac and cheese, and sorrel. The fish was okay at first, but my boyfriend started to like it less the more he ate it. He actually enjoyed my orange chicken more, but I’ve had better—it didn’t really have an orange flavor. The sorrel, however, was delicious! It had a strong kick of ginger, which I loved. The mac and cheese was just okay, but it lacked much flavor.
Service-wise, I got my orange chicken fairly quickly, but my boyfriend had to wait at least 30 minutes for his fish. On top of that, they forgot our two orders of spinach patties and mac and cheese. The customer service wasn’t great either—definitely something they could improve on.
Would love to see them work on both food consistency...
