This location is very convenient to the highway it's easily accessible so it is easily seen from a distance off of the highway. However the restaurant staff could use some training on professionalism and the proper etiquette of customer service. I say this because several of the staff members were on break and while on break they took the time to converse with other staff members that were NOT on break causing them to be distracted from customers being served. Also there were customers that were familiar to staff members that were engaged in loud and inappropriate conversation that i thought should have been discontinued by the staff member in consideration of other diners nearby being able to over hear the conversation but the staff member did NOT do this but instead continued her conversation with the customer until she was finished, All the while i was waiting for someone to realize I was in need of service.
The counters were dirty although there were plenty of workers standing around conversing with each other. There was also an incident where one of the workers not liking the way a customer referred to her and so she began to berate and curse about the customer doing so without ANYONE chastising or advising her otherwise. There was a lot of cursing going on amongst the staff members as they were conversing with each other while preparing customers meals, right in front of the customers. Although the food was served quickly and therefore extremely fresh and hot I found it difficult to enjoy this great meal because my ears were burning due to the lack of filter from the staff members.
I think that knowing when and how to filter your words at work is something that should be common sense and not necessarily a training issue but I guess the staff members have to be told by upper management that this type of conversation and language is inappropriate to be used on the job and definitely in front of paying customers in order dor it to be put into practice.
Also there were staff members I assumed that were taking a break outside. They were not only talking loudly but insult to injury, they were parked right in front of the restaurant in spots reserved for the handicap!. They temained parked there the entire time that i dined and as i was leaving they were still there!. They could have easily parked in other available spaces that were not directly in front of the restaurant or taking up valuable space for handicap customers but I guess that it would've been too much of an inconvenience to have to walk that far so they decided to let the disabled customer walk instead.
To sum it up my meal would have been great and the restaurant would have been given at least four stars if it were not for the inconsiderate conversing of staff. This was horrible! Read more3/29/2025 @ 1100am I placed an order online to go when I arrived. The chaos inside the store, mainly in the to go order area and the cook station, was diabolical. I received a text message saying@11:33 aa that said Your orders were ready". The to go server says it's being prepared now. At 11:55 a.m., I received my order. Now, by no means was it the servers fault. The organization of the store showed more cookers than servers. There were very few people sitting, and yet, the to go order server was overwhelmed with orders. My point...she got no help from b others. She handled the pressure very well yet, the flow, and would have been exceptional if she had help. The food was lukewarm, and the grits were soup( so not what I'm accustomed to from WH). Not even management supports her flow. I'm in today's era. I wouldn't be surprised if this young lady quit this job. She attempted to be as pleasant as possible as some customers were mad because of the flow. And one guy who had his food kept disturbing costumers and her for irrelevant reasons. Read moreWorst experience in the last 2 days ever! I call on a Friday morning and was left on hold and no one ever came back to the phone. I call Saturday afternoon and was left on hold. This time I actually hung up and tried to call back several time for 10mins. The phone was still off the hook. I drove to the location to speak with the manager and try and possibly place a order. The Manger was not there and no one told me until I asked again to speak with a manager. So the young lady call the manager who then informed me he was not coming back until tomorrow morning at 6am. I ask for the next manage available on duty. He then informed me there isn't one. I began to become extremely upset. I advised the manage I would like to speak with him or someone in person. Speaking over the phone is very unprofessional and I would like to speak with someone in person. He brushed me off and ask to speak with the person who handed me the phone.
