Himitsu Teriyaki Redmond Ridge — Restaurant in Union Hill-Novelty Hill

My Family has been visiting Himitus for 10 years plus or longer. We have always enjoyed their food. My son has always been recognized by name, just to give you an idea of our visit's SOMETHING HAS CHANGED. My favorite has been the Spicy Chicken teriyaki. I would sometime pick up an order for dinner on the way home along with a Chicken fried rice for my wife. On occasion I would order two Spicy Chicken Teriyaki and have it lunch the next on a job site.

A few weeks ago we had family and decided to order for take out. It was not the same. The Spicy Chicken was not Spicy and it was dry. It now has onions tossed in with the chicken as (filler)?

I assumed it was a one off. However we again ordered for take out this last weekend for 4 of us. see results below Spicy Chicken QTY 2 Both lacking in spicy and were dry onions again. Chicken fried rice dry Teriyaki chick also dry and no.

We will not being going back. we are disappointed since we really enjoyed their food.

Been ordering meals here for several years, meals and service have been excellent. How every… Just got home from a long work day at 7:15 pm checked the website to see when they close 8:00 pm 👍 took a shower and then at 7:41 I called to place an order togo strangely no one picked up and since I only live across the street I walked over to place my order. I was greeted and asked if I was picking up I said no I’m placing an order togo. The service rep informed me that they don’t take orders after 7:40pm I said the website says closes at 8:00pm the rep agreed that the website does say 8:00pm but they stop taking orders at 7:40pm. I then asked why doesn’t it not say closes at 7:40? Apparently the owner is aware or this contradiction but has not...

I was there when they opened years and years ago I was building the Trilogy housing on the PGA golf course from the very beginning!! There was nothing up there but dirt roads then they opened and they were the most kind people and best food I had ever tasted I spent 10 years driving from Tacoma to build Trilogy they would give us construction workers the biggest portions and treated us like kings!! I will never forget the hospitality they gave us and the food was BEYOND greatness thank you for the great food and service you gave us from when you first opened on day one...I will visit again and praise you for the kindness you gave us!!!
