The server who waited on us did absolutely nothing wrong. She was great. However, this place has an open kitchen, so you can hear and see everything the cooks and servers are doing and saying. If you read through the one star comments of this place, you will notice one cook is mentioned multiple times as being a heavy set bad tempered Karen along with an over worked older cook with no cares left to give. These two were the ones bullying me as their customer. As you can see by the picture of my steak, it was inedible, so I asked if I could add a side of bacon. ADD. I had every intention of still paying for the steak and giving it to my dogs. But when the server asked for the side of bacon, the rest of the time we were there, you could hear the two cooks do nothing but complain about me as their patron. Complaining so much to the point of me breaking down and crying. The cooks then started making fun of me for crying. With all this going on, I couldn't even eat my food. It was literally the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant and from the other low reviews, I was not the only victim and with these two people still working there, I will not be the last. You could tell the server was entirely empathetic towards our situation that she felt it was appropriate to comp the entire check, which we did not ask for. We still tipped her for her time. I am not an emotional person who cries all the time and looks for a free meal. I am more than happy to pay for my food and then praise it with a good review afterwards. I have given many many high reviews on places who deserved recognition for their food and service. This place is not that. It is a waste of time, money and in my opinion, if you want to pay to be served dog quality food, this is DEFINITELY the place you want to go!!

Must have passed by this place a thousand times. Neighbors told us that they heard it was really good so we made a point to stop in. Glad we did. This is the kind of neighborhood diner we miss. It's open for breakfasts and lunches only; it's clearly run by a family and friends; it focuses on what they can produce; and the portions are huge for the prices you pay! We went in for lunch so we got the spicy chicken wrap and the trio salads. Neither were finished and came home in a doggie bag. The wrap does not come with any sides, although you can order them separately, I did not. Good thing I did not since I could not finish the wrap. "Spice" was provided by the banana peppers and the pepper jack cheese, so if you are a real chili-head, this will not impress you. I asked for a hot sauce and was offered Frank's Hot and also saw some Tabasco laying around. The wrap itself was a 12 inch tortilla and this was generously stuffed! The trio salad was three huge mounds of chicken, tuna and egg salads along with slices of tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, pickles, lettuce, and green peppers. Enough for three meals! The place was busy and many of the people we saw were regulars. Staff was clearly family and there was a lot of kidding around - which did not mean that they were not professional - they took care of everything as they should. The place is cash only, so bring real money. Prices are moderate, and even inexpensive when you consider how much food they give you. They have two menus: A lunch and a breakfast one. Both are very large. While we had lunch, we noticed many of the other tables were eating breakfast. Those offerings looked good so we will probably make a point of coming back some day to try some of those as well.

This was the first restaurant we visited after we moved to the area. It’s a small little spot that you’d honestly miss if you blinked but… it was fantastic. Everyone was super friendly. The food came out quick & piping hot. Our waitress, Nanette, was very kind but gave more attention to the regulars than the newbies. I can’t exactly fault her for it but I do wish she would of conversed with us a bit more to make us feel more welcomed. My husband got the Steak Omelet; I got the Pesto Grilled Cheese & let me tell you… everything had SO. MUCH. FLAVOR. The steak was fresh & tender. The grilled cheese was anything but average. Fresh homegrown tomatoes, perfect pesto and cheese blend with the perfect cook & crisp on the sourdough bread. This is a place we will return to for breakfast for sure!

Have been to this resturant just a few times for breakfast. It's close to home and convenient for meeting friends for breakfast. Food is average. Needs more flavor. Normally service is decent. My visit the other day felt rushed. The waitress put in our order quickly upon arrival due to large parties that arrived after us and wanting to get our order in. Not a big issue but we hardly had time to look at the menu. Once our Food arrived we were eating and talking and I was only half way thru my meal and she dropped to go boxes on our table. My friend and I are both slow eaters but she should have at least asked if we needed boxes. Another few minutes she brought the check. We were still eating. We paid the bill and continued to finish our food. She wad watching us and pacing around us making me uncomfortable. So I packed up my food and we got up to leave. She came over and said "yeah, there are people waiting for this table so I need you to finish up". We laughed a little and she then said "you came, you ate, now it's time to leave". Maybe it was meant to be funny but it was very rude. Meanwhile I had been watching all the tables around me and the 2 large groups were still there along with several other tables that were there before us. Guess they want you to come in and eat fast and get out. ...
