Tiki Bar — Restaurant in Union Township

POSITIVE - This is an amazing location for a variety of outdoor lifestyles both Male & Female and also kid friendly to enjoy. They host Car shows, Bike Nights, live band and many others for great photo opportunities and social media tags. The food is good and reasonably priced however it is a "CASH ONLY" business. So be sure to stop at an ATM before arriving. Alcohol is reasonably priced also.

There parking lot is massive and every event I attend has been packed. So if you are tired of indoor restaurants or just want to experience a fun outdoor adventure. Tiki is the place to be.

NEGATIVE - They need to have a lot more shaded seating [preferably away from the stage]. It's a hit or miss that I and as many others are forced to stand, holding and eating our food & drinks because many customers just place purses and other items on the chairs & tables like some deck chairs at some resort then take off. Due to lack of seating, events do not last very long. (2 or 3 hours) than everyone leaves standing too long.

Bring Ear Plugs. Noone does a sound check and more often than not the live bands play at a volume heard across the highway for no good reason. Another reason many people only stay for...

I went for The Memorial Day Car Cruise and enjoyed the band Shady Mugs, for some Kicking Southern Rock. I honestly have never seen so many antique cars and hotrod! They were grilling hotdogs and 🍔 burgers and the cheese fries were perfect. There is a nice assortment of malt beverages, but there is no table service available, so you'll stand in line for drinks. It is a casual and relaxed outdoor venue with a uniquely constructed stage, and a section of tables and the bar are roof covered. The outside has tables with umbrellas. Some took to dancing and it appeared that many enjoyed the day and festivities. It was nice to see some dogs on leashes too. Just a fun day! Definitely arrive a bit early if you want to get a table. Live music events are Thursday evening (bike night) through Sunday afternoon...

Mostly it's ok. Food is good, bands are good, DJ on Fridays not so good, and of all nites to have a DJ on car nite ! Move the DJ to Sunday or Saturday. Seriously. Also the rest rooms are atrocious , absolutely terrible. Plus after all the money they make you would think they could spruce the place up like some paint. And some new picnic tables which are beyond replacement time. It would do wanders !!!! I swear no one knows what common sense is anymore. Tiki bar improvements are way way overdue, step it...
