Wendy's — Restaurant in Union Township

So first and foremost I waited an hour in a drive thru line for fast food which wendy is a fast food restaurant. NOT AFTER WAITIMG FOR AN HOUR TO even get someone to take my order I waited again for another 15 mins once my order was place I asked can they cook my food fresh which mean cook to order.i get to the window to pay and my food was ready..I politely ask the manager was my food cook to order and he said yes and handed my the food. Once I got the bag I notice my fries and nugget was warm not hot so I know that mean it was sitting in the warmer and not cook fresh to order.So I asked the manager can he cook my food fresh like I asked and he asked my to pull up..I waited for one min and another employee brought me my food. I open the bag and my nuggets was precooked and black.so I pulled back to ask why did they recook my nuggets which is apart of health code valuation. He stated they will be closing at 12. which is not my problem when i waited for an hour..so he said he will remake my food tomorrow when my family was hungry that day not tomorrow. So getting off at work on time instead of making sure a paying customer had fresh food and was satisfied was that important to him or the staff.I will be reaching out to the CEO and talk to them about your staff re cooking food at this location...I will not be returning to this location ever again plus he didnt even apologize or ask to give me my money back. The fries were absolutely terrible and completely unedible. They were completely cold, and old. Most of them were even hard and stale as well. Which is great since I ordered a second meal just for extra fries specifically. Not to mention neither of the fey containers were filled up all the way, they were barely half way full. So that was a total waste. The drive through girl was too busy socialling with coworkers to actually do her job, and couldn't even handle swiping my debit card for me to pay. Finally I had a small frosty, that she never made, and waited an additional 5 minutes sitting at the window before a different employee came and asked me if I needed something. He apologized and made the frosty right away. The whole time the drive through girl and every other employee in sight stood there laughing, talking, and looking at me in the car. The drive trough girl even came up to the window while the frosty was finally being made and stood there staring at me while socializing. The window was open the whole time.

Terrible food, terrible experience, terrible service. I've worked in food service and fast food as well. And I've been a manager of a fast food restaurant, I used to write people up for things like this. Drive through can be frustrating at night. Food service and fast food can be frustrating in general. Their Internet was down for several days making it impossible to purchase anything without cash. So, if you're the type of person who doesn't carry much cash and pay for things with credit or debit card, they would be turning you away with an apology. It wasn't a big deal the first time, but I had a gift card and tried to use it 3 different times within a week and each time, they said they couldn't honor it or any card transactions until their internet was restored. By this point, I was annoyed by it. Wasting my time during a 30 min lunch break to be turned away each time. Finally, a week later, I stop by to try to use my gift card. They finally restored their internet and I ordered my food through the drive thru. As I drive away, I check my bag to find my sandwich was wrong and items missing from my order. Maybe at one time Wendy's was a good place to eat on the run, but my experience with Wendy's has always been negative. I'm not isolating my poor experiences with just 1 location either. This is my opinion based on my visits to 4 different Wendy's locations. I no longer choose Wendy's as a lunch choice or fast food choice any time. It's all about the service, not about the food.
