Pleasant Unity Pizza — Restaurant in Unity Township

I would like to preface that I absolutely hate giving bad reviews because I know how difficult it is to work with the public. People are a lot of times unreasonable and unfair. Although my food was good, my order that was incorrect & it was blamed on me. The very nice delivery man brought two pizzas to my home and a side of zucchini. Historically, (because there's only two people ever here) I've never ordered or would need two pizzas. I told him it was a mistake (because we know they happen) and he took the extra Pizza back. I called to have it taken off my bill because it was $47 and then with a $6 tip plus a pizza I didn't order or receive, I wanted my refund only to be told that they recorded my phone call & that was what I ordered. So, basically I was told I was wrong? Or lying? Why would I tell the delivery man that is not my order & send him away with a pizza? Because that wasn't my order! I thought the nerve! All of this could have been avoided if on that same "recorded call" the order was read back to me and the price was given to me. I was hurt that I was blamed. I didn't accept the pizza. I didn't order it & all I wanted was my $13.99 back. Very disappointed in the customer service there today. So much so, I don't think I'll ever go back. Pleasant Unity Pizza affectionately known as “PUP” by the locals, is a no frills, small town favorite that delivers big on flavor. It’s definitely a popular neighborhood spot, and after our visit, it’s easy to see why.

The interior is simple and straightforward, but the focus here is clearly on the food. We tried the pizza, which came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The crust was thin and crisp, and the sauce had a slightly sweet note that gave it a unique flavor.

We also ordered the sampler appetizer, which included onion rings, chicken strips, wings, mozzarella sticks, and jalapeño poppers. Each item was cooked well and tasted great, a perfect shareable start to the meal.

Though it’s tucked away off the beaten path, PUP is absolutely worth the detour. Our server, Mary Beth, was welcoming and helpful, especially since it was our first time there.
